The Konrad's are very ethical, they consistently will not even consider giving a fish an extra 1/4 inch If it's right on the line, it shows their character. Respect.
Matthew D Duncan they are the true professionals in this series. They’ve been my favorite for a while now, those Canadians know what the hell they’re doing
Jay said in taro’s video that making another 39 hours depends on sponsors and money. They should start a gofundme or something so they can do multiple 39 hours a year. That would be so sick
They need to stop messing around with bluegill / rockbass and hunt a musky point then a bowfin point. Go looking for a snakehead or a peacock. Gar as well
No pressure Aaron but I expect to see a “Best Of 39 Hours 2” video with all the big fish and commentary from the whole cast. There’s been some real monsters caught this season.
I know everyone misses Manny but I think Jay is a fantastic addition to this season, he's had some great commentary and his fishing skills seem almost equal to Aaron, they really make a great team
Snagalishus Man Manny is definitely hilarious but Jay is definitely not a step down. I’ve followed his channel for years and his content has such great editing and cinematography. Many people don’t realize that he was a part of the first 39 hours but just behind the camera. You also would be hard-pressed to find a more likeable person. Aaron needed Jay on board to help with editing. Also Manny lives in Saskatchewan so it’s just easier to organize this way.
@15:41 Jay Siemans, "Don't quote that statistic because 65% of statistics are made up on the spot." Jay, that's one of the funniest, most ironic quotes I've ever heard. That should end up in Brainy Quote. It's that good. Love a dry sense of humor. One I came up with is: "Lord give me patience... and give it to me right now."
@uncutangling, seriously, keep these coming. Give us bloopers and highlights. Great stuff! Would also love to see a showdown with all these characters on one lake. Or 3 days on 3 lakes
Love seeing the mood change coming from taro..you get to see his "tactical" and serious side..really shows his competence and asserts his professional status...but his funny side is still great
I think they're at their best when Paul takes the lead and taro is there for comedic relief, once taro took the lead he got stressed out and Paul isnt the kind of guy to get him out of that mindset
Taro did seem out of his element..even on his home waters. Definitely should have been a slam dunk for a perch but taro turned it into a hard to make 3 pointer
@@enteriowasoutdoors8014 I think he got too stressed out because it should have been easy but had a few bumps in the road. After that he got in his head about it. That will get you in any kind of competition.
I’m team Manitoba all the way on this, anyone who busts out the fly rod multiple times gets my vote, but the Konrads are some dialed one anglers as well. Looks like they’ll have to find a better US team for season three however
When Aaron catches a personal best, like the Goldeye in this episode, I just automatically assume that is the biggest Goldeye that could ever be caught by anyone anywhere. Aaron is the king.
Could you imagine if they pitched this to the outdoor channel? Every year they get new anglers from different areas for a season. It would be the greatest thing on TV
Happy to see some improvements on the scoreboard animation but could use more. Highlight fish being upgraded and stolen and show length comparisons. Fantastic content!
Maybe the most stressful episode yet...the pressure is intense. Thank goodness team USA is just having fun and trying to relax. Seriously though, we would love to see them put some points up. Paul and Taro...absolutely massive threat on Simcoe, but will they pull it together? Seems like Paul wants to lead...is that distracting Taro? He seems easily rocked by the second guessing. Hoping big things for them in the final episode. Western dominance continues, and watching SK and MB put their game faces on is impressive. Or are they just in zombie mode? Waiting till next Wednesday seems impossible. Probably have to rewatch the whole series just to make it through.
Great work guys ! I really hope you continue making more seasons . Side note ,my money's on aw and jay . but send love to all the other teams ,unreal amount of work put into this. I'd love to see a open fishing tournament based off this format , would be unreal ! Definitely one of a kind
This is my absolute favourite youtube series. Im from northern sweden so canada is so similar to sweden but you have like 4 times the amount of species of fish to catch. Canadians and swedes fish very similar. What i hate is that swedish fishing channels and the more famous fishermans are being sponsored to promote the more american type of fishing where you have to have 5+ rods with you all the time cause they wanna sell more rods and reels. I would rather have 1 really good rod than have 5+ rods that you have to bring everywhere. Right now i have 1 rod for perch and 1 for pike and even that is a pain in the ass.
You need different rods for different species, and for different presentations for all those different species (different actions). It makes a huge difference in your success rate.
The angle of approach speaks of the attitudes towards interacting with wild animals....essentially, this is what fisher-folk do. You can own a variety of tools, and not be promoting corporations at the same time--its just in attitude and presentation. Good observation however...
Share the videos and support the sponsors. This is how we keep this (greatest fishing show ever created) rolling! Its a shame these are only getting 100k views in a week and some kid is getting 250k in one day for posting about his new shoes.... on a fishing channel.
Luc van Brenk they shoulda shot across Wisconsin to fish the Mississippi. Wayyy more possibilities then they wouldn’t be spending an entire period on a 10” bluegill.
weird to think that this was 5 months ago. i remember getting my chips, my dip, my drinks, and the premiere set up half an hour before it even started like it was yesterday
Late to comment but I always carry about a one foot long 6”x6” wood block when towing a tandem axle trailer. Just pull or back the good tire on the block and it lifts that side up, no messing around with jacks and it seems to be faster and safer than most jacks. Also, I didn’t get a good look at your axle but if you have room you can wrap a ratchet strap or chain and binder around the axle tube and your frame to lift that tire up enough to limp it to the next fishing spot!
I definitely could out fish team acme, by myself!! They made such bad choices as where and what to fish for. Ap is just a bass guy and not very good at that and Eric is a trout guy. Neither one is really a multi species angler.
I feel bad for not rooting for the US team but they don’t stand a chance. Peric contributes nothing other than his social media following. He’s no better at fishing than most average weekend anglers.
If it was just a bass tourney he would be a great addition but obviously its not, he knows almost nothing about catching the many key species that it takes to win
Best episode so far. Lots of laughs
Starts off with Taro taking a leak off the front of the boat (11:30). 😂
"Turkey duck"
Jay's comb over
🤣😂
Turkey duck had me rolling 😂
Believe that's a coromant
The Konrad's are very ethical, they consistently will not even consider giving a fish an extra 1/4 inch If it's right on the line, it shows their character. Respect.
Matthew D Duncan they are the true professionals in this series. They’ve been my favorite for a while now, those Canadians know what the hell they’re doing
They're all Canadian except peric n eric
Matthew D Duncan
What everyone should strive to be!
Agreed
I can’t wait, jay mentioned in taro’s video the potential for a 39 hours “Ice Edition” and I think that would be a great idea.
i need this !!!!!!!!!!!!! does team usa have ice?
jason lesauvage yes they both ice fish. Peric also owns an ice fishing lure company with Aaron and others.
Eric Haataja guides trout through the ice in WI so there’s for sure a potential for Team USA through the ice as well
I think it’d be too easy for the konrad brothers lol
What about getting Superior Angling out of Duluth MN. He's a crusher.
Jay said in taro’s video that making another 39 hours depends on sponsors and money. They should start a gofundme or something so they can do multiple 39 hours a year. That would be so sick
Anyone else hoping for some sort of tie, and another walleye fish-off?
Peric and haataja are the Cleveland browns of 39 hrs
Being a Browns fan from Cleveland. You're not wrong lol
They need to stop messing around with bluegill / rockbass and hunt a musky point then a bowfin point. Go looking for a snakehead or a peacock. Gar as well
Brandon Francey did you say peacock and snakehead 😂, buddy they are in wisconsin
@@TheDreamCatchers Cant tell if there's sarcasm there or not lol
They have spent so much time on rock bass. Like to beat a 10.75 inch rocky... good luck
“I think it’s a tiger” every time Dakota Lithiam catches a fish

all the teams getting tired and starting to get on each other.. then you have the Konrads just chilling.. "give me a chip" LOL
@15:41 Jay Siemans, "Don't quote that statistic because 65% of statistics are made up on the spot."
Jay, that's one of the funniest, most ironic quotes I've ever heard. That should end up in Brainy Quote. It's that good. Love a dry sense of humor.

No you didnt
i was thinking the same thing. underrated quote
Brilliance indeed.
Dumb comment
they have to do a 39 hours ice fishing.
"Should I cast at that one?" -Aaron
"Yeah" - jay
"Okay then dissapear" -Aaron
😂😂😂😂😂 get tf out of the way of the master fly angler!!!
@uncutangling, seriously, keep these coming. Give us bloopers and highlights. Great stuff! Would also love to see a showdown with all these characters on one lake. Or 3 days on 3 lakes
Great season so far. An addition of a Clayton and Manny team would be epic

the musky bait with your hair is still my favorite video
Sad it’s almost over 😩
Unless there is a tie, as my buddy reminded me. 4 way tie, please!!
Def wont be 4 way the way Acme is going, tackle box will need a big round to catch up, dakota and manitoba have the best chance at ending in a tie
This is by far my favourite series.... ever.
Quick tire changing trick on tandem axle pull the good tire on a curb or a rock it will lift your flat up enough to change it no jack needed.
Wowwww good to know
Awesome episode, best yet! Whoever edited and added the music for the Conrad's is a comedic genius!
What a tournament 👏
Can't wait for last period
Make an ice tournament happen next winter. Similar format but winterized.
Love this show 👍
Rewatching last Episode just to refresh my memory now... should be about perfect to pass the time
I'm seriously not sure. How there are actually people who don't like this lol this series is simply amazing. Love this
I’m team Manitoba all the way on this, anyone who busts out the fly rod multiple times gets my vote, but the Konrads are some dialed one anglers as well. Looks like they’ll have to find a better US team for season three however
Anyone else catch Jays “it’s just nice to be out here”?
yup
"Spinning dink of fury" - Taro 2020
He was actually talking about Peric with that comment.
That’s what I call my willy
First 19 minutes were great then you get reminded peric is on the show
I plowed snow from 1am till 9am
Then went and did some mudding on drywall.
Now I'm home and exhausted. So pumped for the new episode!!!!
Awesome to watch the friendship between Paul and Taro. Genuine want the best for each other in the long run.
Team Manitoba killing it. Maximizing every bite. Great knowledge of where different fish are and then catching them.
When Aaron catches a personal best, like the Goldeye in this episode, I just automatically assume that is the biggest Goldeye that could ever be caught by anyone anywhere. Aaron is the king.
Things I set my alarm for work and 39 hours cant wait
Man I'm loving this competition. Best fishing on TH-cam for sure.
Could you imagine if they pitched this to the outdoor channel? Every year they get new anglers from different areas for a season. It would be the greatest thing on TV
tv is dead dude. Uncut angling orignally aired on wildTV. but they had to PAY$ to get on TV, fuck that. TH-cam is king now
Hands down the best fresh water fishing series that exists
Kudos to all the fishermen here! They are fishing so hard for the 39hrs!!! We love it
Best fishing show of all time!
This series is insane!!! Such good content
You know you're in trouble when you're fishing for 10 inch bluegills
😂😂😂
Acme is on the Great Lakes fishing for blue gill on an inland lake... not to mention starting at like 9 am every time.....
Matt Dahlman they should be at the fox river getting a flathead. Guaranteed point
Illinois river
All the carp species...
All the catfish species ....
Lots of points they could of had....
Man, team TBL, my heart broke for you guys when that perch came off.
So sick! Great show, go team Manitoba!
The best fishing series on TH-cam! Keep up the great videos!
I love all of these episodes!
Happy to see some improvements on the scoreboard animation but could use more. Highlight fish being upgraded and stolen and show length comparisons. Fantastic content!
Noo the perch killed Taro and Paul again! Lol
Awesome. Wish I could watch a new episode all the time lol. Team Manitoba ain't nothing to f with
Like the music when the twins catch a fish that isn't a point. Secretly trash talking? Haha
And also this is the best series ever made!
Team USA spends the whole period trying for a ten inch bluegill. That's embarrassing. Next time add Spencer and Clayton instead of Eric and peric.
Yep, clayton and anyone.
Yup, Spenser is the real deal. Pair him with John Hoyer and turn them loose in Minnesota
10 inch sunfish isn't that crazy.
@@supremeleaderarmy9164 your right. He,s pretty dialed. Peric is totally out of his league though.
Honestly it’s like they forgot that it’s a numbers game. A 10-inch Gill is equally as hard as a Muskie.
Great series! Amazing content! Hard to watch team USA fumble around the boat. Would love to see some ice fishing too!
Team USA wasted so much time throughout the whole competition.
Team USA gosh idk
Peric is a bass angler. If his partner was partnered with a dif multi species angler they would've had a much better chance.
@@user-by6yc8yl7v Yes, way too much time spent on Bass fishing
They're still out there looking for a bluegill to this day

I now know the hot spots for 6-8" bluegill. THANK GOD.

The blessing of the turkey duck!
That pike on the fly hook set was sick
SOOO EXCITED!!!!

i can only guess which idiot your talking about, has to be 1inchrod
Absolutely do an Ice fishing show in the future ! People would go nuts 🥜
39 hours either needs to be all in Canada or all in the US. The size deference of fish between the two countries isn't even fair
Let’s go tackle box lottery!! Let’s upgrade that perch and large mouth bass. And maybe a bowfin that would be legendary!
Sadly Bass does not open on Simcoe until the 3rd Saturday in June. Simcoe holds the Canadian smallmouth record.
"Come at Team Manitoba, I dare you"......Wiebe is GOAT!
Highlight of my TH-cam week!
Hahaha acme needs a flathead and a musky to try to scrap up some points
Luc van Brenk they shoulda shot across Wisconsin to fish the Mississippi. Wayyy more possibilities then they wouldn’t be spending an entire period on a 10” bluegill.
Or Wisc river, long and shortnose gar and bowfin would have been very attainable there, I catch them regularly on cutbait and minnows in the summer

Holy smokes all of the teams came ALIVE this round!!!! Wait... someone wake up team America 😂 those boys sleeping 😴
Jay and Aaron all the way... keep up the great work guys.
Best Show on TH-cam!
Being where Aaron started at sunrise looks beautiful
“What is that? A turkey?” 😂😂😂
American moment 😂
Soo team u s a 's strategy was catch a 10" Bluegill all day.!!! Wth Sad...
Yes very sad. I know it's un American but I couldn't root for them.
The other teams are much more prepared. I think having done 39 hrs is a huge advantage
they look clueless.
Well essentially its eric basically guiding peric at this point. Peric hasn't offered any sort of constructive advice or ideas.
If only Eric could have some help from another experienced multi species fisherman😂 it is so sad watching them trying to compete and represent USA
I Love this series! So Good!!
Konrad’s disgusted with the 14” burbot 😂
Is it just me or does team manitoba always run into trouble with the tire and the engine in season 1
Burbot brothers are fixing to catch an all tackle world record burbot next episode.

Thinking the muscovy duck is good luck is hilarious
Wish my jersey game was as strong as Taro’s
Best fishing show.
Cant wait for season 3
I love this show but I find all the negative comments odd as the likelyhood is none of us could out fish any of them.
I definitely could out fish team acme, by myself!!
They made such bad choices as where and what to fish for.
Ap is just a bass guy and not very good at that and Eric is a trout guy. Neither one is really a multi species angler.

I don't think Peric is a legit angler but the rest are all beasts
Aaron is a master with that fly
Clutch Period for team Manitoba. Just made things more exciting. Tackle Box Lottery... common don't die on us, Team USA already checked out.
Can’t wait to rematch all of these!!
Go Team Toba! This episode belonged to them. Bring it home Jay and Aaron.
1900 likes before the episode starts.
