    What fun to see these overtures played. I've heard them many times (the first Bernard Herrmann recording I found and bought was "Welles Raises Kane"), but I've never seen them played. For a Bernard Herrmann fan, this is worth a repeat viewing!

    Keith Lockhart is just about the most boring conductor around. How he gets all these assignments is beyond me.

      The orchestra sounded in good spirit. What makes him boring? Don't quite understand your take.

      Herrmann is the best and Lockhart conducts his music excellently. Don't listen to losers like the slasher. He's a mentally deficient thing. Won't give him the honor of a Psycho. :)
