There are TONS of reasons why people cheat, but the most common is they're probably not being fulfilled with their current partner (in some form). Maybe they're not home, maybe they can't satisfy in the bedroom, maybe they keep taking money, who knows.... TONS of reasons. Another could be just simply commitment issues. Maybe they grew up in a broken house and saw their parents constantly fighting. Maybe they learned not to trust people they get close to, so they look for something elsewhere. I could go on and on.

Honestly, he could've been more like Kobe. Did what he could to work on his marriage and spend more time with his children.
