My God, Eric actually knows what ALL those buttons, sliders, and wheels do for all those HW synths. He is THE original sound designer geek. Literally a synth legend/God. I am a lazy slug when it comes to sound design. I just want a bunch of cool sound patches to use as colors in musical paintings with zero tweaking. That Omnisphere can make all these sounds wearing the "sonic skin" of each of these HW synths convinces me this is the most powerful and versatile synth EVER invented. For the price it is a steal.....

This mans brand is legendary. $500 is a very small price to pay for the ammount of work put into this. Imagine if they got paid by the hour for all the hours it took to make this for you. It could be in the 6 figures easy. Plus its a one time fee and you have it forever. For what you would pay a moving company for one days work, you can get years worth of time and effort and the best sounds on the planet for $500. Its a no brainer if you're a producer or keyboard player. Did i hear free updates!?

sometimes my producer friends say omnisphere is expensive but if u think about it its literally insanely underpriced its the most amazing masterpiece of sound engine that ive come across so far

Absolutely incredible. Eric and the team continue to push limits we didn't even know about until they broke them. Truly inspirational for us producers and composers, but also just to watch real pioneers do what they do. Bravo!!
Eric Persing is my all time favorite “synth guy”. The man is arguably one of the best sound designers ever, comes off as an incredibly kind person and is always entertaining to listen to. I don’t own Omnisphere, but I have Stylus RMX which is a superb rhythm rompler. The guy is kind of a national treasure, if synthesizers where a nation that is.
Let's be honest, what other music hardware or software related company is so passionate, creative, innovative and dedicated? You can see that Eric LOVES and truly ENJOYS what he is doing, business part aside. That is the only way truly great products can emerge - when you love and have passion for the thing that you are doing. And when someone gives you so many great and inspiring tools to work with as a composer or sound designer for such a fair price, I can't understand professionals who still make money using cracked software. Anyway, congrats guys on improving what has already been incredible.
Apple did this in the Steve Jobs and Jony Ive era. Sadly they are not quite the same company now, so it's great to still see passion driven companies like Spectrasonics. I hope you live on forever!

Also it is mainly targeted at professionals and if you earn money making music - this price is very fair for what you get. People used to pay 4 or 5 digit sums for a single synthesizer, now you literally have them all in one package and so much more.
Omnisphere is the best of synths. King. Made friends with him a long time ago and since then friendship only grows stronger. A smiling Eric is always a pleasure to see and listen to. He and his cool team are jewelers from sound design. Thank you guys for what you are! ;)

I bought omnisphere and trillian over 6 years ago and the 1000 sounds that come with the 2.5 update are the best thing that’s happened since I first bought them. They’re just mind blowing. Exactly what I’ve been looking for for so long. I bought some PMC speakers earlier this year and listening to these new patches on them is heavenly. Thank you so much Eric and the team!

True! It's all guys right now in development. It' worth noting that this is not the whole Spectrasonics Team though, just the specific people that contributed directly to the development of 2.5. We have female members that are in other key positions in the company of course...including at the very top, since Eric's wife Lorey has run the business with him since the beginning. We would LOVE to have more female members on our product development team! For some reason, this has been an extremely male-oriented area and although we have a lot of female customers, we surprisingly get less than 1% of applications from women when we have DEV job openings. It's also really odd that in 25 years, we have never had a single beta tester applicant/candidate that was female! It's likely changing for the better with more women getting interested in electronic music, so hopefully that will translate to the development area of music software. We'd love to see that happen sooner than later!
Dude, I have maschine, Komplete Kontrol and all the Kontakt Ultimate stuff. Went on Sweetwater to see the reviews for Omnsiphere. I was blown away. The amount of positive reviews were amazing. I'm going to take the dive into this product. My boy swears by it and he has worked with top artists for many year.

I came from Serum, which I was led to believe by many people was the best thing out there. I, quite literally, was TOUCHED upon hearing this. It's simply amazing beyond comprehension, and we can see how much you guys love your own synthesizer. It's insane.
That performance with the stranger things patch is what really sold me. All you need is Keyscape and Omnisphere 2.5 and that's it!!!! That should be good to go for almost about any gig
I was there that night. That makes me a super mega-sound nerdaloid, true...why it was pretty killer to be there was the Omnisphere PA system which had lows which digested my Mexican dinner for me. Full body massage...plus the O 2.5 extravaganza which is zero dollars for O-sphere users (most people attending). Awesome ty Spectrasonics!
Eric is truly an inspiration for me, he has produced so many presets for the most legendary synths from the 80s, 90s and even 2000s. I'll be checking out Omnisphere 2.5 for sure.
I come from a world of Rock music, we don't use that many synths and what not but this video got me thinking about the possibilities that Omnisphere can bring to the market. I'll definitely give it a try, I also like the fact that it looks like a family created this. At the end of the video, when he showed props to the whole team, that's cool. I really enjoy using Omnisphere 2,inbetween my day job,as music is a hobby for me.Omnisphere is such an awesome bit of kit,so many creatives uses.I have only begun to scratc the surface,ha,ha

I came from Serum, which I was led to believe by many people was the best thing out there. I, quite literally, was TOUCHED upon hearing this. It's simply amazing beyond comprehension, and we can see how much you guys love your own synthesizer. It's insane.
That performance with the stranger things patch is what really sold me. All you need is Keyscape and Omnisphere 2.5 and that's it!!!! That should be good to go for almost about any gig

I was there that night. That makes me a super mega-sound nerdaloid, true...why it was pretty killer to be there was the Omnisphere PA system which had lows which digested my Mexican dinner for me. Full body massage...plus the O 2.5 extravaganza which is zero dollars for O-sphere users (most people attending). Awesome ty Spectrasonics!
Eric is truly an inspiration for me, he has produced so many presets for the most legendary synths from the 80s, 90s and even 2000s. I'll be checking out Omnisphere 2.5 for sure.
I come from a world of Rock music, we don't use that many synths and what not but this video got me thinking about the possibilities that Omnisphere can bring to the market. I'll definitely give it a try, I also like the fact that it looks like a family created this. At the end of the video, when he showed props to the whole team, that's cool. And the free upgrade to already existing users?? Come on, that's classy!
