i can't see this in my salesforce domain. There's no new button, can only use connected apps, is this normal or not? I have already assigned the use api permission
If you need to have authentication done from a web application for e.g. if u had an external website where the user needs to authorize MC cred when redirected to MC. This is somewhat similar to sometimes when you visit your trailhead sites if you are logged out, it redirects you to authorize ur SF creds then takes u back once its validated. Server to server is used if u dont need this on the front UI and all is taken care of behind the scenes.
Yes Aakash - you can check all the boxes as needed in the same Installed Package scope - the installed package scope is just providing an interface to specify what permissions you are permitted to have if you connect to SFMC through that package's authentication.
