I love how Till conveys such emotion in his eyes and face. He really pulls off the persona of an angel that doesn’t want to be an angel. The way he looks miserable and beaten down…. Just awesome. Till is also a very strong guy because those angel wings weigh either 100 pounds or a little over 100 pounds.

An older tour had 2 trailers dedicated to electricity production and they burned ~5000 gallons of diesel per show. Since they were at stadiums they should of had access to a fairly large substation, but they still needed more power.
They use their own power because their gear is all setup for the European standard of 220V and 50hz. Rather than adapt it to American power, they just supply their own for their equipment.
Well, to throw in some information on Rammstein, like some did before me. Till Lindemann (Lead singer) is also a licensed pyrotechnician. A lot of pyrotechnic companies don't want to build his crazy constructions, and the more important part, to make sure, that his colleagues are safe too. As @Michael Finck said, the line-up hasn't changed since they were founded 30 years ago. They also promised each other, that if 1 member would go, that all would go. They are the second most successful German Rockband worldwide, just being a little behind The Scorpions, who are the number 1. Till is also a poet, and has released several books with his own poems. A reason why their criticism is sometimes only noticed on the second or third time hearing their songs. After all, they are from Eastern Germany, before the wall was torn down, and well, it was not so much a nice time, if you spoke out loudly the words on your mind and your thoughts. I would recommend listening to "Radio", to get a hint of the life there.
Their stage does take about 61 hours over multiple days to assemble. There are time lapses of it on TH-cam to check out - it’s pretty sweet. Saw them in Chicago around Labor Day 2022 (concert was originally supposed to be in 2020 but we all know how that went). It was definitely worth the wait and an experience to be at Soldier Field for it!

Yes,... it's in MSG,... it was the first time they pleayed live in the US after nearly 10 years, before they played only small shows and support act. No record label or anyone wanted to take the risk for booking Rammstein in MSG, so they toke all the risk themselves, finally ...this show was sold out after 20 Minutes, ... so they made a fanbase. You should see the stage they have for their last 2 most recent tours. They have a completely hollowed out gigantic airliner just for the tour. And the DO basically bring the whole stage with them. It's insane
When Rammstein tour, they currently your with two stadium stages. As others have commented, there's a timelapse video available to watch on TH-cam. Why do they do it? For themselves as they want to give the best performance they can and for the fans. Rammstein know that their fans are dedicated in a way that others aren't , that they spend a lot of money on tickets, travel etc and this is a way of repaying the support the band has from the fans. 100% dedication on both sides here.

Rammstein got international with the help of the american movie producent David Keith Lynch after he used 2 songs of their first album in his Movie "lost Highway" from 1997 ("Du Hast" and "Heirate Mich"; the band members were fan of Lynch), in a interview years later he told, that he needed more CDs from the band (70 exactly) since every member from the movie crew liked Rammsteins sound funfact: in the 7 episode in the 3 season of David Lynchs serie "Twin Peak" you can see Lynch himself playing the role of "Gordon Cole" and whistling the start of the song "Engel" also surprised, that nobody saying something about the keyboard player walking on a treadmill XD

I'm so glad you're reacting to Rammstein. I'm not sure what you've heard and seen already but to answer your question Till Lindemann's range in singing is very broad. And I totally recommend reacting to Waidmanns Heil and Mein Herz Brennt but the piano version.
You remembered right, for their stadium tour it took about 70 trucks to transport the stage and everything. If you watch a video from this tour, you know why 😉 About the song itself: the lyrics can be interpreted in a totally different way. People tend to idolizse their stars, and the more famous this stars get, the more they live in another world far away from the normal people. The guys of Rammstein don't want to be like that and appreciate their fans, for example coming on stage again after the show and thanking the audience for coming.
They do literally ship their stages around with them and build them piece by piece at each destination. U should see their 'mordor' stage as its been nicknamed...that is one awesome stage
I was blessed to see them this past September at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. We parked next to the large lot that was used for at least 100 semi trucks that were all labeled for what equipment was in them. Very organized trucks. Labels included either front or back stage, different types of lights, etc and I cant remember the rest. But as an organized Virgo, it was an organized dream. I wish I had taken some pix. They also had large columns in the middle of the floor in the audience that sent up flames. The hear was immense, but just added to the whole ambiance and experience.
the 70 trucks are for Open Air Concerts in Sport Stadiums where the Pyro is then also way bigger.....for the Madison Square Garden or any Indoor Concert they don´t need that much obviously,

I'm sure someone brought it up last time you viewed this, but the thing that really gets me about this song, is the children's choir singing the chorus. Because, as old religious views (and Christ himself) say, only children are truly innocent. So only the only way to make more angels is for children to die. There are numerous serial child killers in history around the world who see themselves as "saving" their victims by killing them before the world and humanity's evils corrupt their innocence. And then you have children singing "You can only see us when the clouds are gone at night, we are afraid and so alone, God knows I don't want to be an angel..." that really hits different.

Saw them live last year, gonna see them again this year on July 7h, front and center in the Feuer Zone. FYI, that wingsuit apparently weighs about 130 lbs.
Yo, watch the TH-cam video of them setting up their stage, it's wild it does legitimately take two full days to setup. They have towers out in the middle of the crowd that are stadium high that fire pyrotechnics out of the arena.
They had a concert for the Liebe ist für alle da album in Madrid, and a friend was going to work to set up the stage. They pretty much bring everything with them from Germany and it was about 30 trucks back then that they had to bring to Spain. Now the stage is different, even bigger, so yes, they use a lot of stuff but it looks great and this kinda performance requires it.

I saw Rammstein in Philly at Lincoln Financial Field. There is so much talent and originality with this band! The place was packed. They had 6 towers set up that would explode with flames aside from the main stage. You could feel the heat on your face. Incredible unforgettable concert. Loved every minute of it.

Yes, I think that's a problem. If you stick to the old one, it means you're no longer creative. If you do something different than before, it's not good for many either. But I think Rammstein did a good job. For me, Adieu and Zeit and other titles are really good. Especially zig zag. 😂

you guys react to a MSG performence wich is about 10-11 years old. you need to try out one of their Stadium Tours (2019-2023) xD if you see the Setup for their Tours the last couple of years, you will understand why they need 70 Trucks for all their stuff
At their latest shows they actually need 90 Trucks, with over 1300 tonns of material. Also they got a bunch of generators running, because most places can´t provide the amount of energy needed for their concerts.
They sold out MSG in under 25 minutes with that show.

I'm so glad you're reacting to Rammstein. I'm not sure what you've heard and seen already but to answer your question Till Lindemann's range in singing is very broad. And I totally recommend reacting to Waidmanns Heil and Mein Herz Brennt but the piano version.
They actually do have 70 Trucks in EU for their stage and 90 for america ( equipment also )
You remembered right, for their stadium tour it took about 70 trucks to transport the stage and everything. If you watch a video from this tour, you know why 😉
About the song itself: the lyrics can be interpreted in a totally different way. People tend to idolizse their stars, and the more famous this stars get, the more they live in another world far away from the normal people. The guys of Rammstein don't want to be like that and appreciate their fans, for example coming on stage again after the show and thanking the audience for coming.
They do literally ship their stages around with them and build them piece by piece at each destination. U should see their 'mordor' stage as its been nicknamed...that is one awesome stage

I was blessed to see them this past September at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. We parked next to the large lot that was used for at least 100 semi trucks that were all labeled for what equipment was in them. Very organized trucks. Labels included either front or back stage, different types of lights, etc and I cant remember the rest. But as an organized Virgo, it was an organized dream. I wish I had taken some pix. They also had large columns in the middle of the floor in the audience that sent up flames. The hear was immense, but just added to the whole ambiance and experience.

the 70 trucks are for Open Air Concerts in Sport Stadiums where the Pyro is then also way bigger.....for the Madison Square Garden or any Indoor Concert they don´t need that much obviously,

I'm sure someone brought it up last time you viewed this, but the thing that really gets me about this song, is the children's choir singing the chorus.
Because, as old religious views (and Christ himself) say, only children are truly innocent. So only the only way to make more angels is for children to die. There are numerous serial child killers in history around the world who see themselves as "saving" their victims by killing them before the world and humanity's evils corrupt their innocence.
And then you have children singing "You can only see us when the clouds are gone at night, we are afraid and so alone, God knows I don't want to be an angel..." that really hits different.

Mein herz brennt piano version official video is probably one of the best piano performances i've ever seen. Yo, watch the TH-cam video of them setting up their stage, it's wild it does legitimately take two full days to setup. They have towers out in the middle of the crowd that are stadium high that fire pyrotechnics out of the arena.
Yeah that's right they have multiple stage's so they can go from one venue to another with minimum down time in-between show's.
They had a concert for the Liebe ist für alle da album in Madrid, and a friend was going to work to set up the stage. They pretty much bring everything with them from Germany and it was about 30 trucks back then that they had to bring to Spain. Now the stage is different, even bigger, so yes, they use a lot of stuff but it looks great and this kinda performance requires it.
There is a video you should watch of them setting the stage up. It's on the Official Rammstein TH-cam channel. Rammstein -Europe Stadium Tour (Time Lapse) It's insane the amount of work involved just to set the stage up. On a side note, I am Till's age and have yet to see them live but my son has had that honour and when I asked him how it went, he held up his arm very proudly showing me he got singed by Rammstein fire. He bragged about it for ages.

I saw Rammstein in Philly at Lincoln Financial Field. There is so much talent and originality with this band! The place was packed. They had 6 towers set up that would explode with flames aside from the main stage. You could feel the heat on your face. Incredible unforgettable concert. Loved every minute of it.
I think I lost 25 pounds sweating in the fire zone. Worth every drop I lost.

Yes, I think that's a problem. If you stick to the old one, it means you're no longer creative. If you do something different than before, it's not good for many either. But I think Rammstein did a good job. For me, Adieu and Zeit and other titles are really good. Especially zig zag. 😂

I have been on 31.7. 2023 on Chorzów Poland 🇵🇱 the best show ever! Tickets 125 euro on the Feuerzone, the best place. Imagine that 😮😮 they jest love the music and us haha not money. Team Till 4ever! ❤❤❤

The equipment was flown in on seven 747 planes from Europe before being transported to each city on 90 semis. Minneapolis was the first U.S. stop in the bands 12-city North America tour. It's also the first time Rammstein has played in an NFL stadium.

This was an indoor show, the stadium show... wouldn't suprise me at all if it takes 70 semitrucks.

I guess most of the people know "Du hast" from the Matrix Movie. It is in the soundtrack of the movie and most of the people say this was the starting point of Rammstein being famous all over the world. The success of this band is not only the music it is because of there Live Shows.
you guys react to a MSG performence wich is about 10-11 years old. you need to try out one of their Stadium Tours (2019-2023) xD if you see the Setup for their Tours the last couple of years, you will understand why they need 70 Trucks for all their stuff
At their latest shows they actually need 90 Trucks, with over 1300 tonns of material. Also they got a bunch of generators running, because most places can´t provide the amount of energy needed for their concerts.
