I've an instinctual/intuitive feeling of being drawn to the group of Impressionists, particularly Monet, Manet, Renoir, and Degas.
Their works, their lives, and their History era seem so familiar.
They are a root influence on my painting style, and my perspective.
Their works soeak to all the senses.

He lived so long public taste had a chance to catch up. Vincent died poor. Toulouse and Cezanne had family money. It is a crap shoot, yes?
