- New York Knicks trade rumors are on fire following the Karl Anthony Towns trade that featured Julius Randle and Donte DiVincenzo. Shams Charnia said on the Throwbacks Show that, “A lot of the offers that the Knicks were conceptually discussing were around Julius Randle and Mitchell Robinson and from Minnesota’s perspective that was not going to get it done.” Kris Pursiainen also reported that, “The New York Knicks are receiving and taking calls on center Mitchell Robinson, their longest tenured player. I always liked Mitch but the guy can never stay healthy and if I'm being real, he has 0% offensive game. Mitch style of play is like the centers of the 1990's. Just need to rebound and block shots but now you've got centers shooting from half court and shit.

Mitch has played 4 more games than KAT over the last 5 years 😂😂 but people say KAT isn’t injury prone. I’m seriously worried about OG and KAT staying healthy and having minimal depth. JB going to have to carry, AGAIN.

I thought I heard something today that the Knicks signed TJ.Warren to a contract. Warren can light it up from three when he is hot.
They should have never signed Robinson. Injury prone. And they let Hartenstein go. And DiVencenzo. That’s crazy to me. Randle is also finally gone.

It’s complicated. I don’t see Leon Rose trading an amazing contract on arguably the 2nd best 3 point shooter in the NBA, factually the 3rd last season, unless something went completely left or completely right. Either Divo was tight, or Deuce got really nice with it.

Keep Mitch, was smashing the offensive rebounds record last year and 1st team all defensive type. Plus hes only 26 and still on the cheap..Now if they could pry Nick Richards or Robert Williams, yes injury history, for a package of Sims,developmental talent, and a 1st WITHOUT including Deuce then do it.

If Mitch is trade it needs to be for a reliable backup center. A good rotational piece for Karl A. Because do we really want to ride or die with Jericho and Precious as the backups? In my opinion Precious is a solid 4 player. Jericho good but not someone you want to depend on if Lord forbid Kat goes down.

If Mitch gets traded it’s strictly because he can’t stay healthy. Would be a shame that a guy that progressed from a foul prone Center who was an okay defender to being a Rim Protector, great one on one defender against Centers in the paint cause he gave Embid fits which is why Embid injured him and he’s a glass eater. The Knicks could win a ring with a healthy Robinson as the starting Center. Would be a real shame that his career dwindles cause of injuries.

I would rather hang onto robinson and hope that jericho can hold it down until he returns.. you won't be finding a healthy player equitable to robinson in the trade market.. if they can find a trade for a guy that just wants out of his current situation with little to no drop off, I'd say go for it.
