I'm a huge fan of Cakra Khan. That said, I agree with Zoe's assessment of Take Me to Church. This version was not one of my favorites. I did find it a bit uncomfortable to listen to at times, so my experience was similar to Zoe's in that respect. I would not have chosen to review Take Me to Church. If I wanted something in this vein, I'd have chosen CK's cover of Make It Rain (Sheeran) which was quite epic, really good. Or for something lighter, his cover of "Fly Me to the Moon" which fully displays CK's artistry, originality and technical chops.

Zoe, I am sorry I disagree to some of your comments. CK has been singing for more than a decade n he has proved himself to be one of the best singers with millions of fans all over the world. In my humble opinion, voice n singing capability of a singer can not only be evaluated scientifically such as sitting position, muscle etc, but its a complex matter, including talent, life BG, habit, attitude etc.
Hi I agree with you. This was certainly not an evaluation but an analysis. Quite different. The evaluation is left up to you, I am helping you understand what we as singers do to create these types of sounds.
this can be the least i like his covers but i love the song and his choise of scratching his voice its a bit too much for my taste but i got his reasons.... you may check roberta flack cover : he is killing it softly....
