Hahaha great question! So it depends what key you’re playing in, every scale has to have every note. So in the key of D which has two sharps (F# and C#) I wouldn’t say Gb and Db because there’s already a G natural and D natural in that scale. Hope that makes sense!! They are essentially the same note but depending on what key we’re in depends on what way we say it 😊no stupid questions!

This was my first time hearing this singer and this song. What a powerful voice. Enjoyed your explanations, as always. I definitely need to explore more of his music.
His voice is just like that, even when his talking normal, so the grit and raspiness is natural, he is not forcing anything, for people who are not in the rock or metal industry thinks that it's unhealthy, but is not if you are doing in certain way... that's why there are metal singers who do the screams for years and theres no problem, theres also metal teachers who can teach people singing the growls and screams, but i can say the same for a male singer who does high pitch notes for many years and put pressure on the vocal cords... it's more common for a male to loose the high pitch than a scream.

Cakra got injured to his vocal cords. it healed but still the sounds of his vocal isn't the same anymore. for example: body builders get injured of they muscles, and the muscles will recover, and the results are like we know. but in this case, we couldn't recommend it for practicing our singing lessons, cause Cakra is one of the lucky one. my explaination may be can make people understand more why Cakra has that rasp or it may be answer that he isn't push his vocal cords to get that rasp. thats why his rasp heard naturaly
