That’s a good question. I was so close to getting the Challenger last year. I’m really glad I didn’t. Comparing the two, HD pulled forward a bit here. The skyline OS is amazing. Wireless Apple CarPlay. Sound. The power plant is stronger. Weight distribution seems well thought out. To me, HD came out ahead. But last year, it was very tempting to switch.
Actually, 8 out of 10 Harley snobs are bitching up a storm.

I just made the switch from a 2015 Street Glide Special to the 2024 CVO Road Glide ST and couldn't be happier. The performance is great, but the difference in wind buffeting at my helmet at 80 mph is a night and day difference. I could never cure it on my street glide and I tried everything. I'm now team Road Glide for life!

Ah, it’s great to see these videos from someone who knows how to ride at a level the rest of us aspire to. Great to see Harley add these features. I’haven’t met a motorcycle I didn’t like to ride and while some may be a better fit for me, I don’t understand how people can dislike any bike or brand. I love Harleys and the Indians. And a cameo from Tall is hilarious.

When I went to Vegas in 97 it was 105 rented a car and drove up in the mountains and it dropped to 65 and the sky was just azure blue not a cloud in the sky, we played miniature golf up there and it was an awesome place. Had a blast in Vegas and Arizona

All LED, fantastic design, good choice of color but to win me back as a buyer they need add an electric windshield and an rear monoshock air suspension. Maybe in a few years? They better hurry up because this is my last heavy cruiser purchase.

I hate to say it as a proud HD Fatboy owner but in terms of power, performance and handling HD are only now catching up to what other manufacturers, especially the Japanese, had in the mid-90s.

It would have to be a Street Glide in either Whisky Fire or Blue Burst, the Sharkskin Blue also looks good however it's not available with the Chrome finish so that would rule it out as a colour option for me.

Saturday I was ask to attend a photo shoot by Shantell Williams #shutupandride. That didn't work out but the director had a music video he was doing for a Botswana singing artist.
We were asked to do donuts around her while she sang. The road was a dead end, 5 degree gradient from center on both sides, 12 inch divots, and raised bricks do to low maintenance...oh yeah, cobblestone.
I asked for a test ride, and failed on the first try. Reset, fully committed to the turn with shoulder dip. Knocked three donuts out, looked at my buddy and he was shaking his head no.
We switched to a parking lot but due to an internal sidewalk and a garbage can, it was less the 18'.
I still had to do my donuts alone with my buddy shooting in and pealing out the circle.
The camera man started following me, so I slowed down. The director was shocked, then was giving me signals I didn't understand. I walked my bike with the camera man who kept crossing my path.
Those Tab 50 Cals were rock'n.

I learned two things, First, if you want to know where the eats are, follow Tall. Second, the bikes look like loads of fun to ride with the updated motor and colors. When they picked Rob to come out and test-ride/review the models, they picked the right man for the job.

Its almost like the street glide is forgotten
It’s not. The stock bars are just too low for me.
Only problem I see is no analog gauges.
All data speed, fuel, etc. Is connected to the screen. Being electronic it's a matter of if and when that unit goes out, then what. No fuel or speed data can be obtained, if it still runs.
Then how many thousands will it cost to replace ?
Not in favor of no analog gauging.
That’s the future. I don’t own a car or truck with analog gauges anymore.

Disappointed they didn't put the cigarette lighter plug on these. I plug an inverter into my 2019 street glide. That's what is keeping me from probably buying one of these beauties.

Under $30 Grand!?!?!?! If the Motor Company wanted to really build new ridership and appeal to those that were the buyers of the Electra Glide Standard or the Road King Standard at the $20K price point… these bikes need to be priced well under $25k or they are pricing a large segment of potential buys out of being able to afford these. This has been my argument all along.

Its going to be a BIG year for Harley Davidson! For those who want tech, the 2024 platform delivers! For those who fear modern tech, can still get 2024 Limited, or 2023 Street Glide, Road Glide and ST's! Jump while the availability is still there!
Hey Rob how does the new road glide compare to the Polaris challenger personally the Harley is a much sleeker looking bike and the dash blows away the challenger just my humble option.
I own a 23 Challenger Dark Horse and recently got to test ride a 24 Road Glide. I will say that it is at least 10x better than the 23 Road Glide, in my opinion. The seat is more comfortable. The new handlebars are perfect for me. And yes, the new infotainment outshines Indian’s by far. My only complaint was the wind noise that I don’t experience on my Challenger. But that is easily remedied with good ear protection. I couldn’t pull the trigger on trading my Challenger for the new Road Glide (yet), but I would definitely choose the new Harley over Indian and it hurts a little to say that. I like the competition that the two companies have as the consumer is the clear winner. Harley has been listening to their existing and potential customer base and it shows.

I am considering getting a bike for my son. Problem is that as a son training him would be difficult as sons don’t listen to parents. I watch many of your videos. I guess that I am asking you if you would train a never rider so he would be well grounded in safety and control of his bike from the start. I am scared to let him loose on a bike without great training. I understand that you are correcting poor and bad habits I would like him to start off with great training. I would be getting him started on a bike this summer.

I believe they headed north on I15, then traveled through the Valley of Fire State Park. Then Right on Hwy 167 down towards the Hoover Dam. Then left on Lake Shore Dr. It's a great area to ride. Although close to Vegas, typically not much traffic.
