My dad used to have a Carina E, but the engine and the transmission was the same as in this Corolla. Hell, even the engine sound is the same. Thank you for letting me feel this nostalgia again.
This was my first car. It outlasted my ex's 2003 Saab 9-5 by 120,000 miles. Outlasted my friend's 96 VW Jetta, and my aunt's 2000 BMW 5 series. I donated the car for scrap in 2011 with almost 250,000 miles running excellent. I have the steering wheel and gearshift above my fireplace.
This is my mom's car since I was born actually lmao Said she gon' give it to me after I pass my Driving Exams :DDD Which I can't wait bc I really love this specific car! Also great review as always Joe. Keep up the great work! Update: Passed my Driving Exams and took this car for driving around Athens. Pretty dope and amazing. Had my mother helpin me out for the first 4-6 times but now I'm findin' my own grip with it. And I love this car even more than I used to as a kid. Your review helped me a lot too so thanks once again Joe :DD.
Love it!!! I got one of these recently and it's quite literally the best cars I've ever owned (I live in america so car ownership is pretty much mandatory)
Pozdrowienia z Kostaryki!
My daily driver is a '96 Corolla, same color too except mine has a gold spoiler on the back. Had it for at least 10 yrs now and i'm keeping it until i drive the wheels off. ❤😉👍
Does this one too have that weird thing that Yaris and Aygo's have where around the center the steer doesn't find its way back to the middle? If you drive an Aygo or Yaris, you very clearly have to put the wheel back to the center after every correction. It's so annoying that I drove another Yaris to test it out, becuase I hated it so much on mine. Sold it for that reason alone. I drove another Yaris a couple of months ago, just to see how I felt about it, and I still couldn't convince myself that it wasn't broken, but that's just how they steer :D.
It’s old true jdm Corolla.P.S. Same issue I had with Nissan Micra 2014,not every time, mostly on parking lot.On Yaris hybrid,2015 model year, was problem, car was revving up for 5 second after you left gas pedal ,but luckily didn’t accelerated by themselves.
I think the 1.6 1994 model had 115 hp ,are younsure this 1,8 from the same year has only 118? By the way in the title you write 107 hp. I was looking to buy one back then but chose a hyundai lantra that I still have because it was cheaper and had more extras. I rode in one some time back then and I remember it had a green and a red light that showed when you were drivng economically and when nt depending on the rpm and the speed that this one didnt have. By the way if I may say so, I think you drive too far back from the steering wheel with your arms streched, maybe its the pov camera angle but it is tiring imo, they say the correct way is with the elbow angle at 90 degrees. Nice car, it can go another 30 years easily just with basic maintenance
Wow! Nice acceleration for 107HP of almost a 30 years old everyday car, and cosy velour interior in a great conditions too!
We used to have a 1994 Corolla. Besides the squeaky rear window regulators it was very reliable with no check engine lights
This is the most beautiful car ever ❤️
6:30 heart attack lol
Really hate traffic that comes out of nowhere like that lol
Got goose bumps haha :D
Pfffft! That was a close call! 😳. Be careful out there guys! 🇬🇧🇬🇧

Was it 1.8 ? 7afe engine!
Thanks for the All-Seasons, All-Car Types and All Ages videos!
Toyota rocks with reliability!
I have this model in Kenya 1992 make. Still pulls well with its original engine
we love to see it! Those engines are indestructible.
Cant go wrong with a Corolla! Especially these older ones without VVTI
What's wrong with VVTI
@@muteclaude6969 Extra technology that requires small tolerances meaning they start burning lots of oil when they get old. But when it works its great
@@ImLeuff That, and these engines are also non-interference as well, very durable, I got 256k on mine.

Ale rarytas - i jaka fajna kondycja. Znajomi mieli taką amerykankę, ale z automatem. Dzielnie służyła 20 lat.

Love the video, just the fun of driving a slow car fast and pure sound of revving engine..class
Wow nice video and test drive
Car may look awful, but it will drive half milion kilometers here and another milion after selling it to Africa. Drive without any mechanical issues 🤯

Prędkość maksymalna wozu, zmierzona GPS to 182 km/h. Przy tej prędkości odcina zapłon 😉
I have a really clean one of these with low mileage and it's quite literally the best car I've ever owned.
me and my dad we have an old Toyota Corolla the 1989 Toyota Corolla in our family 🚘🚗🛣⛽💸💰👍👍🌜

Thats a fun car to drive.
I think I'm starting to learn how to drive stick by watching your videos, might give that a go someday, tired of driving autos tbh.
Cars like this are such a timeless classic. My dad owns one just like this and i'm learning to drive it! The clutch on ours is kinda annoying tho.
I got 94 Corolla dx still runs like a champ,,,will turn 30 years old in August 2024 😄 !!! I’ll hit freeway with 70-80 MPH no problem 👍
This was my first car. I miss it a lot.

Wersja US, były z manualem, obecną generację Corolli też można kupić w USA z manualem .

Why is there a huge airbag sign in the passenger compartment, why is it huge instead of small?
