    I face this issue in my brand new Mini 3 Pro. I wanted to take some footage while skiing but it started to de-focus. I didn’t realize at first why then I saw moisture on the lens and I shocked. I had a Mavic Air before and never had an issue like this. I’ve sent it back for repair and they changed the whole gimbal assembly. I used it couple of times. Then guess what, fog appeared again on the new camera also. There might be a production issue in these devices.

    When I tried opening my lens after opening the screws.. plastic cover is simply coming off along with camera module and I am not able to take it off like to what u showed in the video. What should I do? I am having issues of foggy lens as well.

I tried one thing .. get a ziplock bag and fill it with sillica gel packets.. around 50of 1 pr 2 grams each.. keep it locked for 3-4 days. 95 % fog is reduced and there is no degradation in video quality.. let me know if it helps after trying . I tried it and worked like a charm.

    I know this sounds crazy but just remove the o-ring. I've tried all other "solutions" but they simply didn't work. My theory is that the difference in pressure when ascending/descending will let moisture in past the o-ring regardless. The trapped moisture condenses on the inside because of the temperature difference between the warm camera and outside cold air. Without the o-ring there is no pressure difference and no moisture being trapped. I've removed it a few years ago and have never had the problem again. Everything is fine after hundreds of kms flying in tropical conditions. Still, do at your own risk.

    Bruno, don't forget to use thread locks(those blue "paint" marks) on screws before screwing them back. The vibration can make them unscrew in the middle of a flight and that would be a problem.

    • @Roboticdoughbull3k

      There is absolutely no vibration going to affect those screws on the camera housing bro, they're isolated from any vibrations via the Virgin rubber gimbal mounting components. That's what allows the camera to not be affected by... You guessed it, vibration and jerky movements, along with the motorized gimbal of course lol. No lock tight is necessary for this reassembly.

    They use Silicone grease with Watches on the O ring for a better seal. Maybe try that?

    A simple solution can be using rubber solution or silicon paste to seal the gaps throughout the camera housing lines, has anyone tried it?
