Emanuel here. Funny story about this: I suddenly realized what we were singing about WHILE we were filming this and some of the lyrical lines really hit me hard. I couldn't help but choking up time and time again. Focused on not crying while forgetting lyrics and musical details. I wouldn't have reacted like this before I was a father I think. It's gonna be really interesting bringing this song on tour... We laughed about it and in the end Mats found some takes of me not looking like a wreck. Didier, Jakob, Rasmus and Mats were all just pros and being supportive.
This arrangement came to our minds firstly through The Gas House Gang but also later on thanks to Vocal Spectrum. They both do great versions in their own ways.

I am at the end of my life, as I have advanced cancer. With so little time, this beautiful music was very moving from my favourite group. Absolutely stunning. I first heard it on GHG’s album when it was first released. Over time this song has grown to have new meaning, for a lot of people, as we experience new aspects of life (whether the birth of a child or the loss of a family member). I got goosebumps within the first 30 seconds and they stayed throughout the entire video. Very well done

Stupendous, guys. Peerless. Well ;), Vocal Spectrum did rather well, too-but this recording brings out moments in the harmonies that are muddied in other recordings I've heard.
Small request - I've just done "stemningen" by Wilhelm Peterson-Berger with my choir and I think you guys would make a fabulous version of it. Would love to hear if possible! All the best, keep singing ❤

Who's singing the lead?
Emanuel, the one on the far left and facing away from camera on the wide shots.
Usually, (L) Emanuel - Didier - Rasmus - Jakob (R) are the baritone - bass - lead - tenor respectively. But they are so versatile that they often just switch up the top three parts nowadays. Still, it's usually between Jakob and Rasmus on lead, so hearing Emanuel on lead is soooo refreshing and so good!
Here's to hoping for more Emanuel lead...
