This is honestly a great video! There is a lot of newbies including my self that are coming in and unfortunately there is not a lot of videos like this one that are very specific on what to do. If you are having connection problems at start up. Try not deleteing the "x" as noted in the video at 12:26. I had issues and put the "x" back in and it ran fine.
Did you sell yours in hope to get a better one? you sound salty. if you want to mine do vert coin it might have some value down the road and it is easy to mine for now. you can use 4g cards on it. im getting 2 a day on a rx570

Its about $0.6 you mine them faster then other coins and it will be halfed in a year or two. Also I dont know what card you have. I was only using a rx570 4gig I could learn how to mine raven but I have a good feeling about vert. I like the white paper on it as well as they are very admit about having it stay asic resistant. Sometimes you have to look past your hands. My card only runs at 80watts too so thats not too bad.
Whatsupp man, got a suggestion, turned op the memery clock to 800/850 and core clock to 0. Running 27 mh/s with the 1660ti. Temperature and wattage still the same.

Excellent Video!! I purchased a gaming computer with a 3080 card. I would like to use it for some CAD/CAM work in addition to mining. I was going to do my Bill Pay on it but that doesn't sound like a good idea? Would it be a good idea to have Dual boot with windows? or possibly do a Linux dual boot? Would that give my personal stuff more protection? I do my personal stuff only in the afternoons, nights and all day it will be free to mine.

That's funny I just watching your other video for beginners and after I finished this popped up. It was gotten more simpler now that's great. Hey, so I do have other rig builds where I cover everything. I actually just released an update to one today. I have done CPU mining and probably will again, but generally I stay away because if the processor goes down, the entire rig and all gpu's are down. Vs just one gpu going down.
@@slushyslime2089 keep the temps between 60-65, run it 24/7 you’ll be fine. Depending on your gpu it’s meant to run all day for gaming mining is no different just control the power input through overclocking

Hi, what Core Clock mhz and memory speed do you recommend for a RTX 2080ti on afterburner? Currently running at roughly 54 mh/s on a single card and wondering if I can get higher without putting my card in jeopardy. My temps are roughly 63.
Best video I have found by far to get stated from nothing. It even helped me learn I was overclocking wrong, always thought adding MHz is always better. One problem I have been having with MSI Afterburner is the power limit and voltages are greyed out. I'm running an almost new Predator 300 with an RTX 2070 (Laptop) before I mess with my dual 5700 tower. The mining program shows me running about 38MH at about 80w with core overclock -50 and mem clock +800. Should I be concerned about it damaging my GPU? my fans on auto keep it at 62 Celsius at only about 65% of their max RPM (controlled with Predator Sense).
Hey so laptops are tricky. Definitely keep an eye on temps and make sure they stay low. Glad it is mining for your though. The settings may be greyed out due to drivers.
I wanted to use HIveon and not one person can show how to use Hiveon with windows so I tried this and followed every step but when opening ethereum-ethermine it says press any key to cotinue and after pressing a key the window disappears. I did nicehash and that is easy but this is EXTREMELY difficult and weird.

Great explanation I was looking for this I’m currently running nice hatch only for ease of use. I wish hive had a windows program. I’m running 2 rtx3070 and 2 Rtx3080 runnin nice hatch trex. Getting best stable hash rates . Is this more profitable than using NiceHash?
on the point about the miners and the danger they possibly carry.. wouldnt having a second small hdd in the pc and booting straight to it and running on that solve the dangers? if u still have the rest of the storage devices attached, but not innitiated on that windows installation, does it carry the dangers? also does mining have a need for high or higher speeds of storage memory? would a 60-120gb HDD (that can be found for like 15$) do the job? this pc is/will be my only one, so i am looking for a cheap way to keep safe all my data, banking-personal-etc... advice/answers welcome *i am honestly only going to mine so i can recoup the costs of the new pc... unfrotunately i had to get it in a very volatile price period so i can do simulationsand calulations for my thesis, so i want to recoup my expenses and not looking to make any great profits...

Both are great but accomplish different goals. Nice hash page you in bitcoin, versus this video where we are Mining and holding Ethereum directly. So if you want to hold Ethereum this is the route to go.

Probably at present over $20k if you include the ridiculous prices of GPU's right now.
If you don't pay scalper costs, between $2k to $4k (small to medium) mining rigs.

The batch files arent in the newer github version of 5.5c phoenix. It looks like the format of the batch file has changed too?

Hey, so I do have other rig builds where I cover everything. I actually just released an update to one today. I have done CPU mining and probably will again, but generally I stay away because if the processor goes down, the entire rig and all gpu's are down. Vs just one gpu going down.

Hi, what Core Clock mhz and memory speed do you recommend for a RTX 2080ti on afterburner? Currently running at roughly 54 mh/s on a single card and wondering if I can get higher without putting my card in jeopardy. My temps are roughly 63.
Best video I have found by far to get stated from nothing. It even helped me learn I was overclocking wrong, always thought adding MHz is always better.
One problem I have been having with MSI Afterburner is the power limit and voltages are greyed out. I'm running an almost new Predator 300 with an RTX 2070 (Laptop) before I mess with my dual 5700 tower. The mining program shows me running about 38MH at about 80w with core overclock -50 and mem clock +800. Should I be concerned about it damaging my GPU? my fans on auto keep it at 62 Celsius at only about 65% of their max RPM (controlled with Predator Sense).
Hey so laptops are tricky. Definitely keep an eye on temps and make sure they stay low. Glad it is mining for your though. The settings may be greyed out due to drivers.
I wanted to use HIveon and not one person can show how to use Hiveon with windows so I tried this and followed every step but when opening ethereum-ethermine it says press any key to cotinue and after pressing a key the window disappears. I did nicehash and that is easy but this is EXTREMELY difficult and weird.

Depends where you live and how much you mine (i.e. hobby or business). Check your country's tax laws, there will be a section on crypto.

on the point about the miners and the danger they possibly carry..
wouldnt having a second small hdd in the pc and booting straight to it and running on that solve the dangers? if u still have the rest of the storage devices attached, but not innitiated on that windows installation, does it carry the dangers?
also does mining have a need for high or higher speeds of storage memory? would a 60-120gb HDD (that can be found for like 15$) do the job?

Both are great but accomplish different goals. Nice hash page you in bitcoin, versus this video where we are Mining and holding Ethereum directly. So if you want to hold Ethereum this is the route to go.
