I love the lyric "I love the way we worked so hard yeah we've come so far." such a realistic approach on love. Relationships aren't always easy in the way media wants us to believe. It takes hard work and dedication to be with the one you love and make the relationship last.
I also just love how in this song, it all comes together when the 'superstar' actually refers to yourself and how much about self-love and self-sufficiency it can be. As in I can easily look in the mirror and sing it for me.

Marina knew she'd never be Electra Heart again, that being what everyone wanted her to be and just floating through her career in whatever direction they would drag her was not who she wanted to be. As Electra, she wasn't taken seriously. I'm glad to finally know Marina through her new content.
You guys are right but at the same time Electra Heart was a part of Marina. She said herself that in this album she finally embraces love after fearing love (Electra Heart era) even tho Electra the alter ego is dead, Marina knew that she needed to found love and stop having fear of it.
