How do u get the managarmr's in there?
I'd suggest getting the SelVision mod, it lets you see the animal's wild stats/hp/torpor with the spyglass (and an upgraded pair of binoculars as well as a scope with the same function) so it will help with breeding since you don't have to remember every pair's original stats.

When you are near caged Managarmr you will be killed because of his tek dash ability. This "lightning" as you say is his dash which kills you.

I use vacuum compartment for all my taming needs. You can easily trap most things and keep them safe during tame. Depending on the dino, you can use 1-6 compartments that are easily placed to trap them.

The manas ice breath attack pierces armor most likely the reason you get one shot when you get really close
When your in the air with a managarmer if you do the ice breath you will glide
you can also just tap a direction when its in it hover animation to do smaller better stamina cost boosts

Yes they do get a longer glide when imprinted. Did some test on sp and set imprint quality to 100 and it can ‘fly’ for ages.
Managarmr is norse. it's named after the wolf who will eat the moon during ragnarok. from what i've read it was another name for Skoll. fitting seeing how it is the end of the world and the moon it destroyed. and they are draconic creature with wolf like features that attacks quite literally everything it sees. nice reference to norse mythology wild card.
P.S. I just found this out right now. i knew the name sounded familiar somehow. so i searched it and crap ton of norse stuff came up and i lost it.

Those "electric" sparks you see are from the jets. It's a bug that happens when they get trapped and bug out in flying mode. Sadly there is no way around it but to stay away from them all together.

18:47 That flyby damage that you were doing is the thing that keeps killing you when you have a managarmr trapped. The game thinks its doing a constant dash but because its not moving it keeps hitting you rapidly and depletes your hp really fast. Also hits the rider thats why you were killed on the owl.

I think you were right, and what killed you was the "boost" from the Managarmr's feet. Perhaps he was above where he appeared to be? I don't think it's supposed to be used as an attack, per se. I think it's just supposed to be a passive source of damage.
As for the low-level baby, you ought to consider a breeding trick I heard about. I bred up a line of high-level Yutyrannus with health, stamina, and melee mutations, then found a low-level one to breed with it. I eventually got a low-level baby with all the high stats of the mutated Yuty, which allows me to potentially keep breeding more mutations without going over the level cap.

The “laser beam” is the same ability as the drake’s left click where it does the zoom/super jump. Because the managarmr is trapped that way it makes it “fall” and when its in the air it gets the ability to super jump:)

The managarmar has a similar model to a Rockdrake, they have the same type of moving and when they glide they look really similar.

explanation for managamar taming and their attacks is that they bascially get stuck and do their "air dash" permanently at some point which does a lot of damage. it also damages you on your mount

I think you should do the red drops when you are not recording then record the loot and cut it in the video when you show the good loot
Every time in the air you do a movement with a managarmr, it cost 100 stamina but after that it costs an extra 100 stamina. For example you lunge forward it costs 100 stamina and the next lunge will cost 200 then 300 then so on

I also haven’t understood the weird "Laser" Attack it sometimes does (mainly when trapped), but now I figured out that this laser effect appears when the Managarmr hits you with his Air-dive Attack, and because the Game thinks he is in the air permanently when trapped, the effect stacks itself up, almost like he can use it infinitely but you can’t see the diving animation, only the laser-like hitmarker effect.

Syntac, Managrmrs increase the "long dash" with theire speed stat, I think its duration based, and movement speed just increas the pseed of how you move.
You have to click left or right or small forward to use the lmb again to speed forward now also you cant spam W forward anymore you need to wait a second or 0.5 seconds before using it again

I know this is a bit late but that "lighting attack" is a bug after you trap the mana and it appears above the trap. It can be coursed due to server lag or if you freeze then in the trap in a wrong direction. We call this a dragon ball attack 😂 a way to fix this is to re-freeze it but sometimes it's bugged out of the trap and that doesn't work the other way is to pull down/Demolish the trap and trap again
Name your Imprinted Managarmr Chewie because it looks like it goes into hyperspace when you do the dash

Try trapping him like you normally do and then build a bigger trap around it with pillars and ceilings then you might be able to unglitch it and use the demo Gun 2 get rid of the Gates
you can fly straight on the managarmr without using too much stam by using the breath attack while youre in the air

They didn't change anything with the managarmrs. You can still thrust forward after a jump. +Stay in land more, the stamina usage of the thrust goes up by 100 each time. Getting off of it will regen stamina WAY faster.

Trapping it with a snow owl only works well with s+, you have to get it to try walk through one normally

Managarmr’s have an attack where they slam the floor when they jump and when there glitched in the trap it maked them do the slam a whole bunch of times and it hurts u off ur animal

i hope you know when you dive bomb enemies it heals them and makes them invulnerable
