So anyways I was saying this the other day, Crouching and Jumping are too strong in Mordhau, they deserve a significant balance change and rework to the game, here is how I will fix it. 1. Removing legs from the player model and adding prosthetic legs To fix the above issues, you will need to remove both legs on every body model. In Game, when you equip a leg on the Player model, it will make it appear that the legs will follow the Player model, so you won't be able to use this feature in the game, as there is no model for it. To fix this, it is very important to change the leg model on the Player model so that it is facing out of the center and this means that the legs are not attached to the back part of the character, making it so the legs are not moving. If you change the model of the body model, and only a certain point is moved, then you can use other players for movement. 2. Removing the leg model To fix this, make every one of the Body models except the leg model look exactly like one of those players, and only those leg models will not be moved, and those models will be moving like the other characters. 3. Removing all legs models, because it is too big and not in the best position I have removed all of the legs models on the player model. Now you will be able to use only the player model with the player legs on it, and not have to change the legs model again and again. The models of the players bodies will be fixed. 4. If you didn't change the leg model, and it is still on the player model, and it isn't on another player's body (so not you, but another player), you are in the right place You can use any other model of player model of the body of other body model and use it, with its own legs and not the legs you have already used to make the body.
we need an executioner sword rework, heres my two cents: 1. alt mode grants flight 2. alt mode disables flight. 3. alt mode is disabled. 5. alt mode still allows you to fly when you are in alt mode, but your aircraft can no longer be shot. Note: alt mode is currently very good, but we don't want to nerf it unless they get a fix for air-to-air, then alt mode is better

the beauty of this game is you can play however you want and still be good if you know what you are doing. What you are seeing here is just stouty's "style" its not representative of how every high level fight goes, there are others who play mechanically, but once again its not everyone. I have 2k hours, Elite 1 rank, and I play exclusively with light armor with off meta weapons for the most part. This game really shines when you experiment with fighting styles and moves. If you play fighting games; think of it like creating your own combos. For me; thats where the depth really is. Dont feel pressured to play a certain way or use certain things. Just have fun fighting the way you want, you will 'get good' along the way.

I would've quit long ago if there wasn't room for creativity. I play to have fun; experiment with new moves and make my own combos. I just happened to put in enough time to develop good muscle memory and really understand certain mechanics, like swing manipulation. I know from many videos it may look like high level play is really mechanical, but it's not always like that, and you dont have to play mechanically to be good. Its just one way. Its hard for me to describe, but there are an unlimited amount of ways to play this game. imho, the freedom/agency you have is actually quite impressive.

Those poke chamber feints instead of parrying seem to be really good. I'm gonna start using that in my games as much as I can. A lot of options and sometimes the poke chamber is easier than parrying a poke. Thanks for this gameplay! Really solid.
parry happens by reflex. kind of a panic reaction. but parrying does not slow you down. looking down also helps dodge horizontal attacks, because your hitbox works like that

Those of you who haven't played Mordhau can't fathom how difficult some of these detailed maneuvers are. I've been playing for over a year but am only just now starting to learn how to "really" play. It seems like Drags are more effective than Excels?

It's not THAT broken imo, you just need to be good at parrying and since it's a small 1h weapon it's easy to drain their stamina and disarm.
