- WWE have signed a lot of wrestlers over the last decade or so and a lot of the wrestlers that WWE signed didn’t make it very far, with many who didn’t even last a year or even 6 months in some cases, or 3! And a few of these cases can be put down to the fact that WWE had no plan for them and the signing was completely pointless and the signing can go down as wasteful from WWE. The fact they pushed kofi Kingston to aside after his lost to Brock for wwe championship just for one guy to come in and didn’t even last in the company and had one god awful terrible match that nobody asked for good grief Vince is gone

She had a GREAT start and a better attitude at the beginning. It’s almost like she felt she did so well right out of the gate that she let her ego get in the way of her improving and then she got mad she lost fan interest because of it.

Another reason Cain Velasquez was taken out of the Royal Rumble was because he was originally a surprise entrant in the match but then Velasquez was interviewed by Sun-sport news and in a weird move (that I don’t think has every been explained why) he told everyone what WWE was planning so WWE had to cancel the plans.

I don't think WWE regretted any of these. Aside from Velasquez, none of them were paid big money, and Velasquez was probably only brought in for one match.

Taya's timming was off. I think she's to old for Vince's taste. Maybe if he hadn't taken over NXT during HHH's absence she would have been successful in NXT. Main roster Vince would have buried her though.

I remember their UFC fight. Velazquez could have easily been the best heavyweight mixed martial artist ever but he kept getting injured. Given his issues staying healthy I always wondered why he'd choose a career in pro wrestling. Guys who have done both say pro wrestling is actually harder on your body than MMA.
In Valesquez's case it's not like it matters anymore because he's going to prison for attempted murder.

WWE is pretty dumb about just signing people and never intending to do anything with them. Taya was an especially embarrassing one, they just signed her to sign her.

I agree. I've always felt that Vince had a problem with wrestlers (or at least gimmicks) that got over that weren't his creation, like the Broken Hardys. He may sign them but that's just so he can bury them. I felt that when Taya got signed it was also partly a favor to her husband "John Morrison", but when he was released they figured why keep her around.
