@@DTS-3PG-SLSM-CoCo fantasy creature, you get to decide. Depends what you consider cannon or not, I don’t consider Pirates Of The Caribbean cannon for example because the original kraken supposedly had crab like details, so I see the kraken as some hybrid of lobster and squid, similar in appearance to a Chuul from D&D with longer tentacles. But again it’s a fantasy/mythological creature, one can imagine anything, I mean, myth is decided by the individual, not the author, Zeus could be the god of pink Ferraris and flamingos, he’s not, but myth is able to be changed so that is so if enough people agree, but even then, head cannon is more cannon than anything else. Simple of it: dead or alive, it’s a choice, your imagination, your choice.
You should do Top 10 Land Monsters that represent the earth, such as the Biblical Behemoth and Top 10 Sky Monsters like Ziz, who was also Biblical, that represented the sky. Fun fact: In Juedism, The Leviathan, Behemoth, and Ziz are destined to fight each other during the end of the world. All will fall, but the damage they will leave behind will be beyond catastrophic.

My first introduction to Tiamat was from the game DragonVale. Didn’t know she was a part of real mythology until now and I got really excited when I heard her name on this list
Good video, but where's Cthulhu? Like seriously... no Cthulhu? Sorry if I'm wrong and he's not a "Mythological" Sea Monster... but if he is I'm disappointed...

I still find the Kelpie scary... it walks on land disguised as a white horse and lures humans to ride it. As a human hops on the Kelpie’s mane latches on to the riders hands and feet and sprints towards water to drown its victims and eats them.
Leviathans aren’t that mythological when you know about the Australian Leviathan was a sperm whale but unlike normal sperm whales which only have teeth on their lower jaw, the leviathan had teeth on both lower and upper jaw, also it’s teeth were bigger and better. Livyatan had teeth on both it’s upper and lower jaws unlike the modern spermwhale which only has them on the lower jaws, and it fought with megalodon, if it was alive now, Captain Ahab would have bigger teeth to deal with than Moby Dick, because the teeth of Livyatan were very much scaled up as well. Great for biting into big powerful animals and baleen whales. Not a monster like in the myth it was an animal so unlike the leviathan it wasn’t going around slaughtering things 24/7 and sinking boats for not decisive reason.
sea monster are most scariest thing, that I can imagine :) Imagining that u are on the edge where the deep sea beggins that u cant even see the bottom, and then imagine something big move from there ... I fear that the most :)
Bulgarian Slayer 13 Awesome, us too! :) More to come! We think you'll love our lineup for all October.. lots of mythology and mysterious topics coming!
Top10Archive Btw are you guys gonna make 10 Mythological Creatures From Eastern Folklore? And also where can I find the pictures you guys were using in the video.
Bulgarian Slayer 13 Yes and no.. Instead of doing east and west, we're doing cultures, like Persian mythology, Greek, Celtic, etc. We plan on covering every culture though! As far as pictures, a lot of Google and videoblocks.
Umibozu is like from the adventure time where Greg or Finn's dad trying to escape through an ocean but there's an creature called "Guardian of Humans".
The funnny thing with the kraken is that nobody knows how big giant squids are they could be as big as 100 meters but another funny Thing is if a giant squid bigger than 20 meters trys to get to the light Zone or the Surface it most likely will implode like kabush
honestly i think the kraken was a giant squid. i think what made sailors so afraid was that when they saw a giant squid perhaps they thought it was a baby and would speculate on just how big the fucker could get.
Number 15: Burger king foot lettuce. The last thing you'd want in your Burger King burger is someone's foot fungus. But as it turns out, that might be what you get. A 4channer uploaded a photo anonymously to the site showcasing his feet in a plastic bin of lettuce. With the statement: "This is the lettuce you eat at Burger King." Admittedly, he had shoes on. But that's even worse.

The best part about the first Kraken was that no human had defeated it.
So is it dead or like alive

You should also add Cthulhu
Also Kalia from Indian mythology Kalia is known as 1000 headed cobra which rest in Arabian sea and killed by lord Krishna
Kapil Diwakar Both great additions!
Drew Anderson True he isn't, he's just a fictional character written by a nutjob.
Drew Anderson what do you mean!
But Cthulhu isn’t a mythical creature, he is an imagination of H.P.Lovecraft making him fake and he said it was fake anyway.

Charybdis reminds us too much of the Sarlacc from Star Wars. Be sure to tell Bobba Fett to never come across the straight that Charybdis calls home.
