Hey Dr. Cole. I have been following you for quite some time. You have taught me a lot. Although I am a technical person, I took your business perspective to my job(of what little time I did it for) and got some results that cannot be ignored. I also figured out that business is my thing too. I want to make a business out of what I have(or don't have yet). I know the books that you mentioned but haven't got to them yet. Where should I start? I am still a college student and got one year of college left on me with a technical job at a big tech company lined up. Thank you for your time.
@@browingodfrey5524 Less stressful work. Also my work wasn't already appreciated as a pentester sometimes sysadmins did not like me powning their stuff lol. The new job is also much closer to home. Writing a pentest reports for years is the worst thing of all. Especially if you have a cunt manager who actually cant even pentest but wants to leave 10 comments on every page...

Interesting.
Just became a security engineer after having being a pentester for 8+ years
Any reason you moved to security engineer from pentester?
As i security engineer, i think moving to pentester is good career growth. Am I wrong?
