Lucky Kate! I grew up and even went to the same high school as both Paul and Art in Forest Hills Queens but, funny i have never met them - ever! But, you did. Lucky for you! Cherish that great memory ! Sharing in it with you if you don't mind!!!! I did meet John Lennon here in Manhattan and had a quick chat with him when he was broken up with YoKo and was dating....he was a nice man. Very pleasant to a young fan that I was.
I am the same age as you. I bought their LP then when I did not have an LP player. Then I migrated to Australia n brought it to Australia. It is still with me n I still do not have an LP player. My children always laugh whenever we talk about this.

We need a new awakening of the youth of this country and the world. They need to listen to this music and watch the protests of the 60s and 70s. They are the ones being killed by the leaders of this country and the world. If they will rise up, they will find many of the generations before them at their sides. Simon wrote all the songs mate. Art loved to take credit but he can't read or write music. He can sing well -- that's it. He'd be nothing without Simon.
I love to listen to these two, as much as I love to watch Paul play that gituar. He is a master with those strings and Art gave each song wings. Their harmony can't be rivalled. Awesome 💕 them. March 2021.

I was a teenager when I started listening to these great artists. I could say I grew up with their music. I remember when these came in lp45. I use to play them over and over again. When I was working in Iraq from 1982 to 1987, we used to listen to their music thru tapes and video betamax tapes whenever we felt homesick. Listening to their music now brings back memories of my adolescent years. I wish they would have another reunion. Beautiful music!!!

Paul Simons guitarplay is some special and Art Garfunkels voice are sound like an angel so to speak their music and a lot of scores will stand for ever generation after generation. Incredible how their music has lived on over generations. I saw just Simon in concert in Tampa in the '80's and he was great, but the 2 of them together is magical.
My dad listened to them in Vietnam in 1969 and to this day they are his favorite. I grew to love them as a 7 year old in the late 1980s on a beat up cassette tape version of their greatest hits. I had the pleasure of seeing their reunion tour in 2003 with my dad in Phoenix. There will never be a duo like S&G. I only hope my 3 year old son, as of 2019, will grow to love and appreciate them too.

I was a teenager when I started listening to these great artists. I could say I grew up with their music. I remember when these came in lp45. I use to play them over and over again. Now fast forward to 2021, I am still amazed . Thank you for all these music Paul and Art. They are still beautiful as they are then.

This is one of my favorite concert arrangements by S&G. I have it on my playlist and listen to it many times during the week. I don't know why, but I don't seem to grow tired of it.

I love to listen to them. Beautiful lyrics. His dad had open heart surgery at Montefiore Hospital in the 1980s in the Bronx.I took care of him and met Simon when he came to visit. He is such a sweet and humble person. We were so excited.

Paul Simons guitarplay is some special and Art Garfunkels voice are sound like an angel so to speak their music and a lot of scores will stand for ever generation after generation. Incredible how their music has lived on over generations. I saw just Simon in concert in Tampa in the '80's and he was great, but the 2 of them together is magical.

My dad listened to them in Vietnam in 1969 and to this day they are his favorite. I grew to love them as a 7 year old in the late 1980s on a beat up cassette tape version of their greatest hits. I had the pleasure of seeing their reunion tour in 2003 with my dad in Phoenix. There will never be a duo like S&G. I only hope my 3 year old son, as of 2019, will grow to love and appreciate them too.

We had an 8 track cassette of them. Loved them then and still do. Songs are timeless.
