Using AI in education
We interviewed José Luis Carcamo, Deputy Director of Educational Technology at AIEP, who explained to us how AI-powered virtual assistants work for teachers and students.
In 2023, AIEP launched the Instructional Assistant for teachers and the Virtual Assistant to support students, being pioneers in integrating artificial intelligence in the classroom. In fact, ChatGPT was launched globally in November 2022 and by January of the following year AIEP was already working on how to incorporate it.
