O euphonium não é muito usado na sinfonia, essa função pertence ao trombone baixo, isso porque o trombone baixo dispõe de mais recursos na voz paralela as tubas do Q o euphonium.
They’re playing all those 32nd notes at 16ths, probably because the other way would sound bad, classical notation doesn’t make any sense to me I swear to god I have never seen a classical performance where they actually play what’s on the page, but they all usually play is the same way, just not what’s written, so why don’t they just write what people play?

Too curious to find out what the missing sounds were, I found them in Bruckner no. 7 section U. Very different when listened together.

they very much do. i think it is to keep viewer interest while they are playing on their own without the rest of the orchestra

Little bit intonation problems. And little bit like running. Maybe it's just not enough real rubato.
Big, precise, full, well balanced. But kind of an aggressive unpleasant edge to the sound that I don't really fits Bruckner, or anything, really.

I find lpo brass light and abrasive, when judged from recordings. Not for the B.
