bob hill was the head coach of the pacers spurs sonics and knicks so please tell me why did the 93 pacers lose in round 1 while the 95 spurs lost in the conference finals and the 87 knicks finished 24-58 with reggie miller and david robinson not as elite as star patrick ewing

I remember that. Spurs got knocked out of the playoffs in the first round against the Jazz in 1994. Disappointing season. Pop was brought in as GM from Golden State. Lucas's coaching contract had run out. Pop felt like changes needed to be made for the Spurs to be more successful in the playoffs. He and Lucas met in the offseason and could not get on the same page. So the Spurs decided not to extend his contract and they brought in Bob Hill.
