One thing I saw that amazed me: in the the ‘22 season, which led to his huge $162 mil contract that December, Brandon had 16 HRs and 62 RBIs in 151 games. He has exceeded those numbers before the all-star break this season. The Mets made a good gamble in ‘22. He is absolutely one of the best OFs in MLB.
I agree with James I NEVER think about what round pitchers are drafted. Even position players. Unless it’s said on the broadcast or something I really don’t know
I'm with James: lean into your strengths and get more offense, that way you don't go cold at the wrong time. Starting pitchers cost way too much in trades.
Really need 2 BP arms, yeah they don't have to be the greatest, but they have to be upgrades. They basically need to bring in someone to fill Railey's role as a high leverage LHP, and someone to do what Otto was supposed to do and be a mid-high leverage RHP to mix w/Nunez, Garrett, & Butto. Also need a lefty bat corner OF, you guys are right about Winker, but I doubt it happens. Problem w/Canha is he's another righty bat on a team full of righty bats. Rangers being sellers would help a lot, Yates, Robertson, & Leclerc should all be available once they decide they're sellers
They just cannot keep sending Diekman and Ottavino out there and expect to be taken seriously. This bullpen is a sad, sick joke. And it is a shame because the offense and starting pitching is doing the job. The pen is just nauseating.
@@dashx1103 Nunez & Butto have definitely both shown they're valuable weapons out of the pen. Edwin right now scares me, but we all know who he is and what he can do. Otto I agree, needs to be gone. Diekman I think is a fine piece to hold onto, but as a second lefty, like he was signed to be, not the main high leverage lefty, not that I'd complain if they dumped him either, but you'd preferably want at least 2 lefties in your pen
@@capncaveman8360 Núñez and Butto have been great. I kind of have a gut feeling that Diaz is going to be fine in the second half. I also think Garrett will be fine in lower-leverage situations after getting rest. So it isn’t all gloom and doom. I think Reid-Foley is pretty solid too when healthy. Maton? Probably at least credible. We’ll see. I’d love for Diekman to get on track, but I’m not seeing it. He’s not injured, he’s not overworked… he’s just bad. I hope he turns it around. They need some lefty options in the pen. The Raley injury really hurts. Looking forward to a strong acquisition to help out.🤞
I’ll admit I gave up on Nimo way to early was down on him bc of his whiff rate. But hes come on to be our best player and he’s genuinely a great guy to boot. If Pete didn’t delf promote for the all star game Brandon would be our rep. Shame on you Pete
The Mets have been producing so many runs almost every single game. They are so good offensively, but are getting tainted by the bullpen. I honestly think we should trade Pete for a bunch of good/decent relievers. We can get a ton of great arms for him. I like Pete, but he’s the only leverage I’m willing to give up to patch a hole in that shit bullpen.

That's what we're saying
I love Jalen brunson

10:50 lol I was telling my dad this the other day 😂
It came to me in that moment like whoa
LFGM!
James don't scratch ya junk lol
I'm screaming, didn't notice
No more Willie Mays facts?
Thanks for calling me out, another one coming tomorrow
It doesn’t really make sense, but BRING MARK CANHA HOME
We’ll sweep the Rockies and go into the break 1 game ahead in the second WC spot and 3 games back of the Braves.
Have you noticed a pattern recently of teams ditching Jorge Lopez and then going on a tear?
Don't give a shit where someone was drafted once they make the big club. Show me what you can do not what you did at 16.
We got to keep it up LFGM! 💙🧡🤍💜🖤
