I think you are *spot-on* with your evaluation of the Lo Storto Originale slant! I bought mine from Connaught too and it's my latest purchase. I also own an Edwin Jagger 316 (superb quality) Rockwell 6s, Mule R41, Merkure 37c (slant) Plus a Windrose open comb head (Slant) Two of those razors are in the £90 bracket, with the others in the £35 (ish) bracket. The Lo Storto comes in at £24 and beats the rest *hands down* as a shaver (IMHO) A 2 pass + clean-up shave and I'm good for 2 day's! I love this razor! It is *aggressive*, so not really for a beginner, and if you are precious about the finish it may disappoint slightly. (I think they are fine) But as a shaver, you'll be hard to beat one, especially for the price. Cheers!
Awesome fatip collection. Right from that old cheap blue box to the latest up market packaging .. I've got a ton of razors vintage abd modern, but each time I pick up the older fatip piccolo (blue box now called Mark 1) I wonder why do I need any other razor at all. Full brass nickel plated razor, like you rightly said.. hard to beat value razor in the wet shaving world today ! Coincidentally I bought all my fatips exclusively from Connaught shaving right from the first Piccolo to their latest open comb slants Amazing you've preserved all the boxes.
Love Fatip razors, like yourself I'm lucky enough to have older Fatip open comb versions of both the Piccolo & Grande, they are much more aggressive compared to the Fatip open combs in the recent years, they retooled the top cap to make them more milder, I like using both the old MK1 version & the newer MK2 depending on how much beard growth I have, The newer Fatip Special Edition using the open comb plate is much milder then the old Piccolo's & Grande's, Great video my friend. 🇮🇹
The value Fatip razors provide by being made out of brass is great in and of itself. They are well made as well no doubt. Only thing I do not like about them is that they have vertical grooves which do not help much to improve grip if any. If I would not have a very strong personal preference for very mild razors I would get one of them myself. Great video.
Been following your videos which led me to try a Testina Gentile.
It’s now the only razor I use.
All the best!!

Thank you. I bought a Fatip lo Storto and a Gentile last year. The Gentile is surprisingly good but nothing beats the originals!
not a bad collection! Recently I also became the proud owner Fatip Piccolo special edition. The kit includes open comb and close comb.
I saw that one. Excellent idea.
Two classics. Enjoy it!

Got my toys. It's going to be very hard to avoid purchasing a Fatip Razor in 2021.

Fatip piccolo. Lo storto open comb
Are the heads brass too or traditional zinc alloy?
All brass! Pure quality! No pot metal!😑
