Been playing as a hobby for over 50 years, but I'm just getting into slide big time. Possibly I'm getting a bit old for effects heavy acid rock! Nah - just fancied a change - still love my electrics. But I've bought a resonator (Harley Benton a great for experiments without breaking the bank!) I've found that by using a 55mm slide (standard seems to be 60mm) the tip of my little finger shows, and if I position that above the fret, all is well. It's a quick visual guide. Enjoy your tutorials - I'm eating up slide tutorials right now. Wish they'd been available when I was learning, back in the late 1960's! We had to make do with Bert Weedon's 'Play in a Day'. Most of the UK guitar heroes from back then started out with Bert!
Thanks for watching and for the tip!!!
