In this Sid Sackson classic, players must press their luck with dice and choose combinations tactically to close out three columns. The board has one column for each possible total of two six-sided dice, but the number of spaces in each column varies: the more probable a total, the more spaces in that column and the more rolls it takes to complete. On their turn, a player rolls four dice and arranges them in duos: 1 4 5 6 can become 1+4 and 5+6 for 5 & 11, 1+5 and 4+6 for 6 & 10, or 1+6 and 4+5 for 7 & 9. The player places or advances progress markers in the open column(s) associated with their chosen totals, then chooses whether to roll again or end their turn and replace the progress markers with markers of their color. A player can only advance three different columns in a turn and cannot advance a column which any player has closed out by reaching the end space; if a roll doesn’t result in any legal plays, the turn ends with that turn’s progress lost.
A predecessor from 1974, The Great Races, exists as a paper-and-pencil game.

4.5 - Love this game! At the same time missing something that would make it a 5. Could be hard to table, lacking variability, a little light, etc.
4.0 - Really great game, almost always keeping, although has meaningful complaints as to what takes away from the experience.
3.5 - Really enjoyed, don't love it, may lose out to better games but the idea of never playing again is a bit sad.
3.0 - A good game, would play and suggest with the right people, if I never played it again wouldn't lose any sleep.
2.5 - A game I'd play again , but will never suggest it myself

1.5 - A game I can't find any reason to recommend

What do you think of “Inkan Gold”? It’s also mostly a pure push your luck game, with a little social aspect in it, due to when others leave and let you get the treasure on your own.
I love it as a very fast easy to teach and very addictive game.

Well, incan gold is easier to understand. Idk why I find it hard to ‘get’ this game. My brain thinks it’s an abstract game.

If you like Can't Stop, Mountain Goats is another easy recommendation. Very similar gameplay, and turns are much snappier because instead of rolling until you stop, each player gets exactly one roll before moving to the next player. Downtime between turns is significantly reduced compared to Can't Stop, although the trade-off is that the push-your-luck is less exciting.

I prefer Can't Stop Express & the very similar Extra! I don't like having only a couple of numbers that can advance in a turn.
