I don't know about this. Players with knuckle shot ability will send out knuckle balls when shot straight. However, shots knuckle even when you apply a curve. When you draw a sideways v like "", the balls path which is marked in green starts shaking, unlike the ordinary stable marker.

Sorry bro but u told that we cannot control the swing of the ball in knuckle shot. It is controlled by the game. But there is a way to control the swing. We just have to swipe in the direction in which we want to swing the ball on the left side of the screen after confirming the trajectory of the ball. I practised it in free practice mode.
