You basically figured this out - Barrel Behind the Door interacts with a spell/trap CARD activation, not a spell/trap effect activation. It’s more effective against something like Just Desserts or Tremendous Fire because they burn on card activation.

You then pick any pack from that year, and then open 5 of it. Then, you have to built a deck based on one of the archetypes you pulled. It’s surprisingly fun!
So, i know that this series is to get that "fresh out the pack" deckbuilding. But as a potential idea, you guys could draft the same set of packs, and then have different instances of those packs (so like, if you roll magic ruler, so does seereax, but you each open your own; seperate magic ruler pack)
