The problem with duelist kingdom is that the game used different rules back then so duelist kingdom decks all end up with bricks in modern yugioh but in duelist kingdom those bricks were actually playable.
Though not an official game mode, I would love to see you two do a Deck Master-esque format where it is just regular Yu-Gi-Oh but a player forfeits if their chosen Deck Master is destroyed or banished (discarded from hand by card effect doesn’t count).
They concluded that that kind of system mainly just means you never play the deck master. Too risky to bring it out since any destruction costs you the whole game.
Guys, duelist wheeldom has been great! My only complaint is that its once s week and the wheel had s lotta slots for s tournament (do you and doto keep score?). I can’t wait for Battle City!
Think this was a really smart move . While these classic decks can be fun. They ethier end up being so slow or one is way over powered compared to the others. Will be good to see some **hopefully** stronger decks all round. Mayve instead of using lists from games and stuff you or a thrid party makes the deck list. You always do these old character decks but very few like upgraded character decks

The Duelist Kingdom wiki is much more accurate about the cards each participant had for the most part, such as Kaiba's three blue eyes.
Honestly I love the character duels in any format I'll even take the one on one duels with whatever deck. Just not a fan of the ranked duels. Need someone to bounce back the comedy.
Maybe you guys can do something similar to what Seereax and Sam are doing for their tier wheel series, where they're doing like a best of 5 or 7 in that specific tier and then move on to the next one. While I'd love to see every single character played for battle city and future arcs... it might end up taking forever to go through all the arcs LOL.

I liked the Duelist Kingdom battles, but Battle City is gonna be 100 times better since most decks are gonna feel more synergistic. If you do end up going to future eras, it’d probably be better to use more of the major players of that era (because honestly, I don’t think people wanna see random GX side characters like friggin’ Adrian Gecko or smthn)

Crush Card can still help you. Some peeps can't handle having their field blown up at all and overfilling the GY can work against them. That is unless there are cards that are not limited to once per turn, in which case, yes you've done fucked up.

Tristan's deck was from Duelists of the Roses? That game doesn't even follow the normal yugioh rules at all! It's completely different.
