@@kevinblue1976 He’s already got his podcast with his bro. I could see him getting a broadcasting deal and leaving the NFL. Since TEs don’t get paid well.
Sure Lockett can get older and maybe lose a step...but his stats were better than Metcalfe last season...and Metcalfe was predicted to go off! Just cuz a player isn't flashy doesn't mean they won't make plays. Geno Smith showed great chemistry with Lockett last year with many different level passes....in a system that theve both known quite well. Smith-Nigba could explode...but that team runs a lot of 2-3 TE formations and they have 2 stud RBs. If Metcalfe doesn't get his reps he'll be a baby. Lockett is the glue of that offense...and for Geno to continue from last year...Tyler should produce. He's a steal pick imo
I think the way Lockett plays makes him a very durable player, because he doesn’t take hits. I think he will have a strong start, possibly a trade candidate when JSN gets going.
Hi Mason love your content! Quick question about the Best ball tournaments. How do you know that a group of 11 or 12 friends aren’t going into the same draft and colluding to make it so that one person drafts and absolute monster team. Doyou know if Underdog take steps to prevent that?
First time in 4 years I haven’t taken Lockett in the late rounds as my constant flex and going with JSN now we’ll see after how many weeks he can earn that flex spot
In the 4 seasons DK has been alongside Lockett in SEA they have both been great 👍 but Lockett has been just slightly better… From 2019 through 2022 they have both started the exact number of games. Tyler Lockett has… -less targets (394 to 408) -more catches (289 to 246) -more yards (3709 to 3576) -less touchdowns (28 to 31) every year people underrate Lockett and every year he is just as good or outperforms DK. While I do expect a very small step back from the elder statesman, I think he is still the clear WR2 for SEA in 2023 health permitting. JSN is a beast and will eventually take that role but it may not be in year 1… 🤷♂️ I’m expecting the rookie to step into at least the targets vacated by Goodwin and Treadwell which only equaled 52 targets last season but JSN will be a tad more involved than those two were I suspect 😅
Hey Mason, I’m picking at 2 in my 12 team full PPR redraft league. Do you like the combo of CMC and Higgins or Chase and Hall more? I’m leaning CMC but I heard you say you had Chase at 2
Wanted to hear your thoughts on adam thielen. I think hes a tremendous value where hes going in underdog and should produce enough to be a mid flex play in casual leagues
@matthewdennis1739 someone had to get the ball thrown to them. They didn't pay him all that money to not be the #1. 800-900 yards with 6 tds will make him a tremendous value if he's going as the WR 64
@@CZA23. Money doesn't mean anything if he doesn't produce on the field. I'm not confident he'll be the #1 this season and if old Adam Thielen is this team's #1 that means this passing attack is going to be abysmal. Rookie QB, poor receiving talent, low passing volume. It's the formula for poor fantasy production and I don't see a world where he gets anywhere close to 6 TDs, or 900 yards for that matter. You're projecting him for essentially the same stats DJ Moore had last year. 1. There's no world where Thielen is anywhere near Moore at this point in his career. 2.
