I really like the idea of those four stones outside Temple of Time always being 'useful' checks, like telling you where Ganon's Castle is, or what two items OoT check gives you.
As someone who has never paid attention to the speed running community other than games done quick I find it hilarious I can say I know more of the strats for this game than I ever should/did know all from just watching this guy every week
I remember this seed. This whole thing was complicated because he usually does not travel that much to Zora's Domain and that also happens in the new scarce seeds.
@@daniel_engles it's an option in rando settings that reduces the number of upgradeable items in the item pool. For example there are normally 3 bows in the item pool, in scarce settings there are only 2. Also only 1 magic , 1 ocarina and 2 bomb bags instead of 3 etc.
@@daniel_engles scarce settings mean that capacity upgrade checks are reduced, so no double magic, fewer bomb bags, chus, and bow/quivers. This does not include wallets or hookshot/longshot.

Yeah, like the fella told you, scarce seeds just means he put the scarce setting, meaning there are less progressive items like Bombchus, Magic, Bomb Bags etc. The only exception are wallets, ocarinas and skulltulas. Try to find his first seed with those setting, it is too much fun because he got screwed haha.
Do you think if ZFG was in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga that he would have two bros moves called "HESS" and "No Dude"? Also I love the mirror shield just as much as I love doing these Timestamp Shenanigans: 7:47 comments.

I'm disappointed to realize this is a vod of a randomizer. I'd be really interested to watch a video where he reflects on his time spent with the game.

what do you mean by scarce seeds? I'm only a YT viewer, so you mean he rarely does seeds now or is that a different style of rando?
