- Hey everyone! this video is the start of Ricks timing chain replacement. This episode includes engine removal and tear down to assess damages and we order parts to move forward! We also test a Yamaha JetBoat!

They call them not Seadoo but ReDoos. 😆. BRP makes a killing on bad engineering.
Seadoo has 60% market share yamaha is like 6% you don't see them because they don't exist

why timing chain snap ?
My ski went down yesterday. I thought I blew my motor. But, the exact thing happened to mine in water. Just died out. Thanks to your videos I’m pretty confident it’s the timing chain. I’m gonna get wrenchin on it today. Thanks for the knowledge.

What's the root cause on the seadoo rotax engine damage? Overheating? Oil pump fail? Seems not as reliable as Yamaha.
2.54 for 93 octane. 😢😢😢. I miss those days.
Bought a 2011 Kawasaki ultra 300x replaced all intake and exhaust valves because they were bent put everything back together and did compression test no compression in cylinder 4 30psi on cylinder 3,2 and 1 what else seems to be the problem

I literally just had to do the same and pull the motor on my 16 RXP 300 but with WAYYYYYY more corrosion unfortunately!

Hi. Over in the UK so a bit far to drive over to you! I’ve just bought my first jet ski, an RXP Seadoo. Bought it as a non runner as I’m a car mechanic. Was turning over very slowly, I’ve found the supercharger was seized.
Removed it, free’d it off and now the engine starts but I’m not wanting to risk it without rebuilding or replacing the supercharger.
The thing is I don’t even know what RXP it is, it was advertised as a 2008 300, which I don’t even think exist. Is there a way of telling which hp it is to get the right charger, or could I send it you to rebuild? Thanks

Same prob with getting parts. My Mission Motorsports is gone thx to Covid. SBT is a nightmare, WSM dosnt have as much, Impros changes owners, SO its scramble time. Amazon and Ebay..lol Besides others we all use.. I bros With Rich Piquette out her in Cali...
