Fan of the Yakuza series since PS2, For all the jank, Dead Souls still kicks ass and I liked how over the course of the game more and more of the city is overtaken by the dead. Still had shitton fun, plus having Goro Majima blasting zombies with his shotgun while joined by a sexy hostess packing machine gun
Despite all the obstacles and difficulties, it's finally released. This was a great video and you should be proud. A remake of this would be welcome so everyone can play QTE grenade baseball. Cheers and looking forward to the next one.
If this game was optimized better/released for the PS4, then I think it would be absolutely amazing. Even with that, I still don't think this game is the worst in the series. The only downsides are the majority of Kiryu's chapter, excluding the first segment, and how Resident Evil it gets.
God damn this game needs a Kiwami treatment.. (like ishin not like yakuza 1 and 2).. It's the only game in the series I haven't played i really want to get my hands on it
All installations were done through my computer's SSD. Granted, again this is emulation and not hardware and I have no idea if you can even use an SSD with PS3 hardware (normally because I have no issues with it in general except for fringe cases.) It may be an emulator thing. It may not be.

kinda curious, did you use an ssd to load the game to see if that would speed it up?

I'll just say the Sega Genesis clown music just doesn't seem to fit. The video is fine just the clown music dude.
