The Heavy Bolter is an absolute monster. Most of the struggle i face in this gameplay is mostly due to the fact that im solo. and the monsters will prioritize the player over the AI teammates most of the time, which the heavy struggles with creating "space" to dish out damage if the enemies are in your face. (except if youre using multi melta) You often times have to rely on physically distancing yourself, or having your teamamtes helping you out to create space to then dish out damage, but since its AI bots, its a bit harder
I always wanted to play solo, bots are better in my opinion how do you play solo? I like outkilling my teammates, you can go full rambo like me and be completely surrounded by swarms and heal per hit very big using the bolter heavy
I've had the same experience. At least the bots stay relatively close to the player though so you can tackle most crowds as a group. My main issue is when playing with randos and we don't stay together, then it becomes a dodge spam race to get to safety so I can unload the Emperor's will....
It apparently the melee attack staggers lesser fodder enemies for a free pistol execution for quick armor regen, but unlike execution, you are vulnerable and you gain net 0 armor recovery XP.
I love overhealing my contested health with the heavy bolter. It just feels like "the longer I stay, do damage and tank shots the more I heal!" And it's just so goofy. Probably a bug but a very funny one.

last week my heavy felt like a better melee than bulwark and assault lol, i was carrying the team with plasma pistol and lmg. but i think they did a patch , cuz my heavy isnt a parry melee god anymore and the weapons feel "weaker", cant stun majors with gold plasma pistol anymore , takes like 6 charge shots. am i crazy ? stealth nerf ? or bots got stealth buff ?
heavy bolter feels like pebbles and doesnt seem to pierce targets on substantial and ruthless, heavy plasma is awful dmg wise and having to charge snipe and then realize u have to do it 3 more times , is impossible - pace breaking - unreasonable. everything not melta needs a buff. even melta seems to not deal damage at times like the hit doesnt register. i might be just a me thing with the servers not getting my data packets ??? but plasma is severly underpowered in ruthless and substantial. it should 1 or 2 hit like it does in average mode.
Man stop embarrassing yourself in public - there’s A LOT of players who can absolutely destroy ruthless without using plasma on any class. I personally NEVER used it after i leveled it.
It’s impossible to solo in this game when The Emperor is always with you.

Nah the real chad move is the bolter pistol. I always pick plasma its just too good to heal.

This game is not a challenge lol. All you have to do is level up.
The difficulty is so simple and artificial.

i always wonder how a heavy loses so much health. then i see the heavy i am partied with isn't using the melta.

What blows my mind is the slowdown effect in an online game. I dont know how they did it, and I really hope someone does a video investigating it.
It isnt slowdiwn. Its an animation effect that anyone can see between an enemy and the one that parry's.

Pre order and it will be under DLC in the appearance submenu, where applicable. Im memory serves, chain sword, bolter, heavy bolter, right pauldron.
