A sellout doesnt mean that every seat is filled… it means every ticket was sold

Only standing room tickets were available. Some people buy tickets for seats and then decide they want to stand and watch or just don't go to the game at all. Harvard website says the attendance was 3095 and Wikipedia says that is the rinks capacity

Unfortunately for Ivy League teams it is a bit more difficult to remain a competitive powerhouse on a year-in-year-out basis, since they do not and cannot offer athletic scholarships. That's why I always think it's kinda cool when some of their teams make the Frozen Four. It's remarkable in-itself that they can even compete at a Divison 1 level in a sport.
