When I was in high school (Ramsey HS, in Roseville, MN), I watched Warroad vs Ramsey in a game at the unheated St. Paul Academy rink. In those pre-Internet days, Henry Boucha was already a legend - deservedly so - and was on his way to the finals of the Minnesota HS Hockey Tournament, a memorable 5-4 OT loss to Edina.

This documentary is wicked good!
I'll never forget the Gold-medal game in February of 1980. Dave Christian was one of my heroes. I'll never forget the 1983 and 1984 Minnesota-Massachusetts Super Series pitting each state's (allegedly) best high-schoolers against each other. Minnesota sent their 'C' Team as most of their very best guys were playing baseball or some other type of sport and thus could not play against the Massholes who plaster them.
