I thought loops add up to 2 degrees so how is the loop counted as 1

@Samuel FN degree will be 2 of a loop but edge will equal to 1

It is wrong. The correct answer would be 0 1 2 2 for the 3rd row of the matrix where the loop graph is shown at 5:48
