      you dont have to wait, you can write it as and when you want but its a requirement for your naturalisation. The earlier the better.Just register at your Volkschule and get a date . its normally about 3 months to the exam so you have much time to prepare.

    That is called Leben in Deutschland... part of the integration course. I did it after my B1 course. I scored 32/33. I missed the question asking about how many years the Bundestag is elected in Germany. I chose five, man is common from the continent where I come from 😂😂😅😂
    They say it is 60 minutes but 10-20 mins was enough

    Yet another informative video! I am an admirer of your work. Thank you for the video and also this PDF file in English & German. Quite helpful! Many thanks for this.
    A suggestion: What would have been even better is, English Q&A and German Q&A are side-by-side. So that once a person understand the essence in English, he/she could quickly refer it in German as well.

    I took the test as a part of integration course. Before we took it, we had classes when we analysed all the questions and generaly learnde about German law, history, geography, traditions and anything that came up. The biggest shock for me was that people from Indiaand Brasil (both with higher education) had completly no idea what was whole ww2 about and they have heard about death camps for the first time. I took the opportunity to watch Shindler's list with one of them.

    Hahahahha very good content as usual. I had to do my einbürgerungstest along a certification of B1 3 years ago to get an unlimited residency card. I told them that i don't want to be German but wanted to live in Germany in an unlimited period. They had anyway made me take the exam. However it was an interesting one.

    Having written the test in February and took less than 15 minutes to finish it. I'll say learning the 310 questions by heart will do the trick of getting full marks. However I'm pretty sure there was a question that is not part of the 310. Something about where to register a dog. I don't remember it as part of the 310. It's good to know I don't have to redo this test again.

    I'm applying for settlement permit and mistakenly registered for the Einbürgerungstest instead of the Leben in Deutschland test. Since the certificate will carry Einbürgerungstest instead of LiD, can it be used for settlement permit application? Has anyone used this?
    Edit: I saw comment below which says it can be used. 👏

      You need to check your individual requirements with the Ausländerbehörde. But if your Master was in English, most likely yes.

    I take the Leben in Deutschland test on May 3rd. I’ve lived in Germany almost 10 years and, well, never got around to taking it 😅
    I first applied to take the Einbürgerungstest, but found an earlier appointment for the LID test.
    I assume after watching your video that although I never took the integrations course this test will still be accepted in my situation?
    Germany can be a bit confusing sometimes even after a decade of living here… 😂

    I also studied all 300-something questions, but the app Leben in Deutschland gives more or less the same 33 questions with very minor variations in the test simulation. I assume the actual test is similar to the app and doesn’t truly randomly pull from all 300 questions. In other words, it seems the most ‘important’ questions are always asked with maybe only a small handfull of ‘curveball’ questions from the large pool of questions.

    • @simplegermany
      @simplegermany  หลายเดือนก่อน

      I wouldn’t count on that 😅

      @TinyEpics หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@simplegermany Thanks for your reply. I took it in Stuttgart last week and definitely passed it. Luckily I was asked only the questions I knew very well. It was extremely similar to the test simulator in the app I was using.
      Now just have to wait for the certificate. Someone told me the real test is actually to show your patience with German bureaucracy to get the results. 😅
      Also: was granted the Niederlassungserlaubnis today! 🎉 Citizenship is right around the corner!

    33 out of 300+ is not so complicated IMO. To get a German Führerschein you need to answer 30 questions out of 1000+.

    • @TinyEpics

      The driver’s license test was much more difficult! I studied for months and barely passed my theoretical exam. Unfortunately I was given lots of curveball questions and decided to take the test in German which was an extra challenge.
      I flew through the LiD test in about 3 minutes.
