I've done a little bit of leather work myself, nothing beats a very sharp knife, and something which is hand saddle stitched. Looked to be about 9 stitches per inch? It was a pleasure to see how a well made pair of shoes is constructed. I really like the use of so much leather, instead of man made materials. Steve, at Bedo's Leather Works would enjoy watching this video. His father was a shoe maker, Steve repairs leather goods.
That was one of the best video’s I have ever seen simply amazing the quality of workmanship that you put in to making a pair of shoes,I don’t know how much you get for a pair but it’s not enough thanks so much for sharing truly a honor.

This video is about Bespoke shoemaking. Customers have high insteps and wide feet. But he wanted shoes with sharp shapes. He was very happy with those shoes. It looks pointy in the video, but it is a very comfortable shoe. A shoe that a person cannot wear is not a shoe. Shoemakers who make shoes with sore feet must retire for the sake of world peace. The shoes sold for $2300. There are currently 7 people on the waiting list. It takes about 1 month to make a pair of shoes. I do not start work unless I measure the correct foot size. So what if you want to order shoes from me? I hope you can meet me and measure your feet. Look forward to the next video Thank you very much to everyone who watched my video.
How much did you charge to make these shoes? More questions, why a 270 welt instead of a 360? Can you fiddle the waist a little more, even for wide feet?
Mr Kim, I love your channel, you have taught me a tremendous amount..thank you! Do you mind if I ask, the water which you pre-soak the insoles is cloudy? Do you put saddle soap in it? Or something else? I have heard of people using some saddle soap to loosen the fibers and make pre stitching the holdfast easier.. Thanks and beautiful work! Alan from USA

More than likely, the stitching of the ‘fitting’ shoe, and subsequent steps are proprietary. You wouldn’t expect M&M’s to put their chocolate recipe online for the whole world to copy, right. Same here for Mr. Kim’s fitting shoe. We should feel blessed that we get to see the rest of the processes in this magnificent piece of art.. erm shoe…
Deep gratitude to you, I keep repeating this video because I keep imagining the magic you did if I’m to say but is not magic, I think shoemaking is build inside you and I love to learn from you more sir❤
I've produced three pairs of handmade shoes - the latter a cap toe Oxford - and have begun a fourth pair which I believe will be good enough to wear with pride. It's a hobby, for me, and watching Terry Kim's deft hand movements, nontraditional - to me - clicking blades and other tools fills me with a combination of hope for the future shoes I will produce, and delight in recognising expertise and handcrafting ability at a level I can only hope one day to achieve. If I am ever in Seoul, I hope to commission a pair of walking boots by Terry Kim, because I know just enough about shoes to appreciate an artisan when I see one.
Amazing craftsmanship, with absolutely no shortcuts taken. I’ll never be able to afford these shoes, but at least I can admire the work that went into them…

Then after some adjustments are made to the trial pair, they are refitted, then the final product is produced from the highest quality materials. This video makes it look like maybe a day or two to complete the shoes. Not true.
