My brother and I played with the marble game for hours and hours -- except ours was plastic and the "marbles" were plastic pegs. There is quite a bit of strategy that comes with enough playing.
A real Dugout is a patented, quality device. That one seems homemade from old oak flooring. Stoner woodworking project, probably took weeks to make it😂
4:45 It is not a musical instrument . the wear only in the center line would not be possible I've seen something similar on an old loom used to make fabrics
That's not wear. Any wooden bead will have this mark, left because of the rings of the wood from which is is made. The beads in this instance would not be drilled completely, allowing the sticks to be inserted. This one is a correct identification.
A place where baseball players wait their turn at bat!? I'm nearly 70! Loved baseball since I was a little girl. Have a room in my house called The Dugout because it's lower than other rooms and has a lot of my husband's baseball junk in it! He played in P.R. as a young man. His tattoo, which I bear in his memory, is baseball themed!
how did a dugout become a mystery?
No batteries? That was last century stuff there.
Ive owned many duggouts. I knew what that was instantly. Thankfully, its legal here.

yeah, the "speedo" version of go. THIS particular solitair game is worth around 20 $ if he sells it.
The game with the marbles was called "High-Q" in the '50's and '60's. But I've never seen one with semi-precious stones.
Very pretty stones!

@@ittybittykittymama7582 Way too thick and heavy for musical mallets. Compare them to the thin, felt covered ones in the next photo.
Anyone over the age of 12 knows what a dugout is.
I don't, and I'm 78.

At 5:22; The man's voice says, "he hopes his hand would give the object some scale" for size comparison. Well........ It's a WOMAN'S hand!
