Quebec in the Winter: Montreal Day Trip to PARC OMEGA

  • Ever dream of spending the night with wolves? We didn't either but it was one of the coolest things we've ever done. If you're looking for day trips from Montreal or day trips from Ottawa, add this to your list.
    It's not in either of those cities but it's only an hour away. You can just visit for the day and enjoy feeding carrots to a variety of animals or you can spend the night in a wolf cabin. Both are incredible experiences.

    Hello there !
    You did a beautiful job whit this video about Omega Park . For sure your windows need a cleanup after ...Lol! 😂
    Like I told you before we did visit this park a couple of times in summer and winter and in one of my videos we brought our grandson and it was a laugh when the elks at the entry came and ate inside the car by the windows ...he was so scared 😱 he was 4 years old also ...😂 Having your chalet just beside the wolves must be an amazing feeling !🤪
    Thanks for reminding us of this great place !
    Love you guy’s

    Very interesting ! A special treat, indeed . I really enjoy your productions.
    I have observed various types of wildlife from my wilderness cabin throughout the year for decades . The most common are woodland caribou and moose . They are often lying within feet of the cabin early in the morning .
    Keep up the excellent work .

    Hello!! Great video I was wondering if you think a1 night stay in the wolf cabins is sufficient or would you recommend 2?

    • @MustDoCanada
      @MustDoCanada  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      We only stayed one night and it was fine. They're quite expensive, but 2 nights would be great too. What we did was arrived around check-in (like 3-4 pm) and just enjoyed the cabin the whole night. Then in the morning after check out, we did the rest of the "driving safari" and went to Montreal after.

    When is the best time to see those animals on winter? That weather looks perfect both for people and animals to go outside. Im planning to got there on winter but I'm worried that it's too cold and not be able to go out to see those animals.

    • @MustDoCanada
      @MustDoCanada  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Most of the animals are native to the area, so it should be okay. We were there around Feb and it was great. We had a warm day but all the animals are out. The deer/elk are everywhere and come up to the car to eat the carrots. The wolves are always out as well.
