I moved to germany 2 years ago, the first year was actually fucked up. Especially the moments when someone or the entire class is clearly waiting for an answer from you and you don't realize you were asked a question in the first place or can't answer it at all.
They at least speak English here wnd have some other foreigners from my country, in japan it gotta be way harder.
But, on the bright note ig, now after i learned the language a bit it got way better and I even got friends with whom I speak german. Still don't feel 100% comfortable but at least not as isolated as before, it will get better for you as well

i was gonna say what's with the comment ratio but it makes sense considering the fact that youtube blocked comments(?) on your videos. i guess they brought it back pretty recently. cool.
