I love using the archeological study Bible. It forces me to keep it in context to rightly divide the truths of scripture. It helped me better understand why Goliath challenged Israel to send out one man to fight instead of both armies fighting (1 Sam. 17). It is also helpful in understanding the parables.
I received a copy of the NIV Archaeological Study Bible as a gift over ten years ago. I have dog-eared that thing and written my own notes in the margins. I really like it because it really helps me understand the historical context and the cultural context of the time periods described in the Bible.
@@warren-freshoffthevinemedia What a great gift idea! I got mine 8-10 years ago after a friend recommended it. I agree that it’s so great for historical context.
I was able to purchase this bible used in like new condition. I will be doing a study of the book revelation in September and will use this bible. Thank you so much for showing us this bible🎉.
Thanks for asking, it really is a great Bible for study. It's $27 on Amazon right now for the updated version (Cultural Backgrounds Study). You can click this link to check it out: amzn.to/4dcavcT
