My uncle (NotLDS) worked for Pat Brokaw in Southern California years ago. Pat is Tom’s brother, and he’s a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It would have been cool for Tom to mention that!

President Hinckley. You are incredible. Solid. I regret during his ministry I was very less active. 💜

If you watch a Kenneth Copeland video and then jump to this, you can really feel the enormous difference in humility and temperament.
Grew up listening to President Hinkley. I miss him.

I do love our prophets and I truly respect and love President and Prophet Hinkley. I know he and his wife are in the heavens still doing the Lord's work.

@thomas pearson really? Do you even know him? If you believe Satan exists you probably believe in God and Good and evil and likely the new testament. And know that a house divided against itself cannot stand and that Satan doesn't imitate good.

I agree! What a wonderful life. We all have a book before God. What do we choose to write in our pages?!!

The "lord" of the LDS ORGANIZATION is Lucifer. It's not a religion, it's an ORGANIZATION.

All of the LDS Presidents have been very remarkable people. But it is my opinion that there has never been.. nor likely will there soon ever be.. another with the favorably ubiquitous presence of Gordon Hinkley. The Lord's perfect choice at the Lord's perfect time-- and we were, and still are, the beneficiaries of that. Be one an LDS member or otherwise, in some way, even if tiny or unperceived, he served you.

Tom's questions were pretty good ... pretty gentle, but they all contained an aire of naivety.

Somehow the word "redound" being topped by the word "abstemious" cracked me up.

He was always going around doing interviews trying to make sure people know about the church. After his death the church went south, and we barely hear from the ones after him.
