The good old days when we had proper fences and no lefties
Mr. Frisk, ridden by Marcus Armytage, won this in record time: 8:47.80. Although this race has been shortened since 2.013, this record still stands.
....Mr Frisks record of the fastest GN time ever will never be beaten...
that's because the changed the ground so that no horse can run the fast race
It can't be broken anyway as the race is run over 342 yards less nowadays.
This was the last firm ground National, never happen again.
This is my earliest memory of watching the national with my dad... lovely memories
Proper GRAND National. Now its like a hurdles race. First time this year that i never watched it.What next.? Take away the fences .?

don't know what the obstruction was that Julian Wilson referred to after the leaders jumped the Canal Turn.
Roll-A-Joint, Scottish National winner, fatality alas, had to be removed.
please tell that person what the reason he deleted so many scenes it's The Grand National he should have left it as it is
there was another horse same name as ghofar who ran in the 2000 Grand national in fact it look like a spitting imagine of this horse
No horse with the name Ghofar or similar ran in 2000 Grand National

Didn't realise west tip ran in the 1990 race
Sadly west tip last grand national backed him every year from 85 national to 1990
