Always worth a watch Guido, the 4 shot pano is amazing. Plenty of other shots work for me but I’m no expert. Nice to see the heather in bloom and some bonus deer shots 👍
Thabks John, the pano was the best image, in my opinion. And the shot that I had my doubts about was prety nice also. The rest was all a bit mwa... don't know not my best work haha. Glad to hear you are slowly getting better and could edit this video. Beautiful images in it; for me this low ground fig is the best for searching composition, so those images are my favorite.
Fijn om te horen dat er verbetering is met je oogproblemen. De belangrijkste instrumenten van een fotograaf. Heerlijke beelden van de heide en met het hert. Je “twijfelfoto” vond ik wat minder in vergelijking met de andere beelden. Het paars met mist vind ik prachtig. Bedankt weer voor deze fijne beelden.
Grappig he smaken verschillen. Ik vond die foto waarover ik twijfelde juist erg gaaf geworden. En die panorama vond ik tof de rwst was allemaal net niet voor mijn gevoel. Ik dacht toen volgende week nog wel een paar kansen daar maar dat liep even allemaal anders door mijn ogen. Het is nog niet zoals het was maar elke dag voeld en kijkt het weer wat beter. Wow mooie fotos Guido... especially the panos. Mooie kleuren. Dit komt een beetje omdat paars mijn favo kleur is, dus dan ogen de fotos van jou nog mooier.

I think these 2 shots are my favourites also. The rest of the trip was a bit mwaa... it's funny because sometimes I go out for photography so I can forget about all the problems. So it's funny that experience the same by watchibg it. Somehow, photography has the ability to slow people down. It's a medicine for a busy world. Thanks for watching grt guido
Hey I am glad you are feeling spritely enough to have edited the video for us to watch, a lovely way to spend a lazy Sunday. Have to say I love the panoramic image, my favourite I think of the video. I hope you are soon filled with that energy and health is 100% for you to get back out there. I appreciate that the authorities have closed off large areas to restrict impact of us humans, some of us take places with such beauty for granted and don't see what is there and forget that it is us that are visitors, I bet the wildlife of all shapes and sizes is loving it, especially the lack of load music and dumped trash and possible wildfire caused by thoughtless disposal of items. Well done for "yomping" to your favourite place.
It's going a little better every day. I do feel that it is not recovered. At least I hope it will recover further than this. My right eye is a little bit smaller, and when driving in the dark, I see stars instead of lights. But there is still progress, so hopefully, it will recover in the next week. It wasn't the best morning when I inrecorded this video. I think my initial thought was they I would be back there a week later, but that went a little different, haha. Hopefully, next year 🙏 but indeed it's indeed terror for me as a photographer with all hose rules, but it is absolutely necessary for nature. Thanks for watching grt guido
Hoi Annie, dit gebied heet de posbank en is onderdeel van nationaal park veluwezoom. Dit specifieke stukje kun je hrt beste inrijden vanaf rheden. Prachtig gebied helemaal met paarse heide maar eigenlihjk is het er het hele jaar door wel mooi. Bedankt voor het kijken. Grt guido
Listening about your eye problem and watching this video actually makes me wonder if the two are related. I watched you look straight through the EVF and at the rising sun and also look straight at the sun while composing you backlit shots. You don’t wear sunglasses, which I know interfere with viewing the screens but perhaps you should when not shooting. Anyway, staring into the sun can burn our retinas and cause a lot of pain. That’s why we’re told never to directly look at a solar eclipse for example. I don’t know if your sunrise photography approach has something to do with your eye problem; but you may want to consider that possibility. Otherwise, I really enjoy your videos and approach, thank you.
Thanks for your comment. You are right that we should never look straight into the sun. In this case, it's a bacterial infection, so luckely it has nothing to do with that. With the mirror fewer cameras, it isn't a problem anymore looking through the evf. I don't look into the sun anymore. In the evf is just an LED screen that displays the image the sensor captures. So that light is never intense as it used to be with a dslr camera. With a dslr, it is indeed quite dangerous to look through the viewfinder straight into the sun. But on these early mornings with all the fog the sun is usualy not as intense and easy possible to look into. Later on the morning it becomes a problem but not at these times. Klopt helemaal het is altijd moeiljjk te voorspellen de laatste jaren. Herzelfxe geld voor de herfst kleuren. Op de één of andere manier slaan we de echte herfst over en word alles meteen bruin. Grt guido

Ben het helemaal met je eens. Vooral de reeên waren idd onder de maat. Toen ik de video maakt dacht ik volgende week ga ik nog een keer dan isnde hei op zijn mooist maar dat liep helaas even allemaal anders. Volgend jaar weer een kans... bedankt voor het kijken grt guido
