I had to set mine a little over half way...2:00 position to get any power out of it. It’s not clipping so I’m sure it’s fine but I hate halving set so high.

do they get hot and do they need more voltage or just 12.6 voltage ???????
14.4 volts.......the md model does rated at 12.6
The Bass 15k manual states a minimum voltage of 9 volts and a maximum voltage of 17 volts. The manual also stated a maximum amp draw during a sine wave of 1302 amps at 14.4 volts. That's around 15,000 watts at 80% class D efficiency.

How much does that amp put out? I’m putting 3 18 in my Tahoe and right now I have the 3 sound qubed 18s and 3 massive audio n4 amps. One amp for each speaker. There is a dude here in AZ selling a bass 15k. If they are hard AF I will pick it up and off the n4s and run one amp

I run taramps 12k md ,just make sure you have strong voltage ⚡ lithium battery an high amp alt. I went with mechman 390 . I'm not disappointed .

I'd stick with Korean made amps. Sundown, Crossfire, Wolfram, Skar Audio, DC Audio are all examples. I'd go with 4 to 5k and make sure gain is set where it's no clipping.

@@Oldbass40what would you recommend for a sundown Xv3-18? I want to be able to average* 2000 watts RMS for longer drives but I don't need to go crazy with the power. I just want to push them to their limits without clipping the amp all the time. You think a 4k would be enough or should I get a 5k?

I had a single X 15V2 on a twisted sounds 3.5K in a chevy cruze and it was nasty. That was almost 2 years ago though. I have videos of it on my old account, "Chingo28"
Yes they did but they had nightshade coils. Everything else was stock x V2 except the coils.
